This board has got so much potential to do some really good stuff in the future when you look at the number of people invested in it. Charity is a great shout. Sponsored events etc. Might involve people having to step away from the keyboards occasionally but something to think about in the future. Just needs a hardcore group who can get together and come up with a few ideas. For all the arguing around politics when you look at threads like the “it’s ok not to be ok” thread it shows the really good stuff that can be done. I'll organise a night out lamping down Hartshill fields if anyone fancies it. Beware the badgers in those hartshill fields. Aggressive fuckers 😆 🤣 particularly the honey ones 😆 |

I have no idea what lamping means but when I was younger it meant getting punched. However since you mention pressers then it likely involves a gentle grazing palm on the cheek and a few hundred handbags flying around. |

I'm slightly confused on getting 4 votes in the best newcomer category, I've been on here since 2013! Thank you anyway mind, I'll have a well deserved joint 2nd place wank. You other three are free to join me. Muffin got most votes and I’m sure he’s been on here longer than you. Although he did delete and rejoin after throwing one of his famous Irish hissy fits😉 You keep mentioning hissy fits. I haven't had a proper one since Woolworths stopped doing Pic N Mix. In fact I remain so cool it hurts sometimes and the only thing for the pain is Haribo and a Cornetto I once got a bit angry at a cat for scratching my sofa but that's a tale for a long , wintery evening |

Also humans, unlike other species, are not adapted to any environment on Earth - heat or cold, without clothing/footwear. How can the peak of evolution leave a creature so vulnerable? Human DNA is not from Earth. Anyway, is that enough to win? |

Posters who are articulate and intelligent. I can never understand rudeness, condescending posting, abrasive posting, bullying posting, etc life's far too short and the majority of the people on here are here for shits and giggles and a bit of light relief away from the realities and hardships of the real world. It's a very small pond we're fishing in here but big enough for everyone if we're sensible. I'm sure that you're more than capable of getting the most intelligent poster award if you work on your delivery perhaps a New Year's resolution is in order. Have a look at how Redwhitenblue glides effortlessly over these pages making hard points with a certain charm and humour. You never know you're an old dog but there might be some new tricks to learn.
