I didn't see the first half, but I think second half the improvement was there even with 3 days training, far more movement and quick passing and inter play, it won't happen overnight but I think it certainly will. Just lack a clinical edge and some pace up top.

Much improved from 55 to 75 minutes but a goal scorer/ poacher is an ABSOLUTE MUST next window. J&J subs made a huge difference.
Other results went our way, so a point gained.

Only 0-0 in the top 4 leagues.
Millwall came for a point, but no wins in 9, god knows where they are going to come from.
Very concerning.
We need some new forward players.
Junior played well.

Mmae is 💩💩💩💩💩 Desperately need a striker next month I think he’d look better with another striker alongside, we don’t have anyone capable playing at the centre in a 4-3-3, Fletcher was the last striker we had who could handle it. Thomas-Assante would’ve been perfect for us this summer. Until we sign someone we should play Wesley alongside Mmaee. |

Happy Christmas Stokies and especially all those going to Birmingham. It’s been a tough watch this year and arguably the last 6 years. I feel for this new Manager as I do with all our new Managers. Initial signs are that he has more balls than Neil in taking off under-performers. Maybe an improvement in energy levels but still along way to improve the quality and cohesion required. Hope Santa gives you what you desire.

2nd half much better, but we're still shit up front. Mmaee got much better when we actually had attacking runs from Junior, Bae and Haks. Even Laurent got forward then. It got easier for Burgers playmaking efforts as well.
Drop Leris and Vidigal next game please!
When McNally fucked up I was sure they were going to score, but well done Bonham. Not that he had much to do. Millwall were awful except for 20 minutes in the first half.
All in all I think we looked improved. Baby steps people. We'd have lost this last week.

Makes you wonder why AN did not want to play Junior. I hope Junior told him to Foxtrot Oscar. He has to play preferably in place of Hoever. Play Thompson at left back with Gooch on the right wing and try and get some balance. MMaee is a bit lightweight he needs to toughen up and put himself about a bit more. The team looked to play with aggression and energy, so that really is a step in the right direction. With a little more composure we would have won. Bonham saved us in the end.
