You'd think FFP would preclude anyone in the Nuno/Potter realm realistically - even if they were up for it, especially having had to pay Neil up unexpectedly
Neil was probably on our top whack?

So are we thinking realistically won't be going for manager's currently in posts?.

Yeah - I fully intended including him. Somehow forgot. Will assume he would have won anyway!

You can't edit the polls, and add other names in unfortunately, but would assume Potter would win any poll like this by a landslide.

Won't be surprised if it's someone not on that list Agree. Don't think any of MON, Lambert, Jones were on similar opening lists. Hughes definitely wasn't either.

Interesting to see Nuno leading the poll, His wolves success was built around playing 5 at the back.
Got the impression we didn't want 5 at the back

My top 3 would be
1. Potter 2. Hassenhutl 3. Nuno
After that it would have to be someone young, fresh and foreign.

Eustace is 1/2 Potter 8/1 With bookies Either would suit me Eustace would just be more of the same. It would feel more like a Lambert appointment. We desperately need to snap out of this cycle of British managers. I would make an exception for Potter as he has managed outside the UK and has proved he's a good manager, other than him it has to be someone foreign or me just get back on the hamster wheel I feel.

Eustace shouldn’t even be in the top 10. He’s done nothing anywhere. 21 wins from 63 games at Birmingham. He lost 26.
Why is he even getting a mention.
FFS might as well make Joey Barton head of our HR team

I wasn’t particularly pro-Eustace before but I think the Stoke connection might help supporter relationship and he did well at Brum and at Kidderminster, albeit a much lower level.
You know a lot of them would work as good appointments for any other club, but not for us. Schumacher is a bit in the Neil mould, but he’s done a good job at a couple of clubs now. Carsley seems the type to command respect and England have done well under him, possibly out of our reach. Hassenhuttl would be my 4th choice. The rest of list is unconvincing.
It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if Smith was high up the list, but he’d certainly be on the meh side. Done well at some places and not so well more recently at others.
1) Carsley 2) Eustace 3) Schumacher 4) Hassenhuttl
