I'd imagine Cameroon are trying to snuff out that possibility He’s only 19, became a first teamer for a League 2 club, and hasn’t looked out of place in the Championship. He can be a Premier League player in a few years all being well. If I was him, I’d hang on a bit longer and give himself a chance to earn himself an England call. Walker. Trent. James. Livramento. Wan Bissaka. Justin. All in his position. That’s just a few off the top of my head. He’s a good prospect but I’d choose Cameroon as well.

Seeing his name written out in the title as it is made me say it and anyway that led me to singing it to the tune of agadoo.
Creative geniuses get to work...........

Or Stoke for some reason only AN knows! i think he was signed as a player too work with, i cant remember the phrase used at the pre season meet the manager event the lad will come good for us in time! The frustrating thing is, yes he came as one for the future but because of injuries he got his chance ... He took it (our MOTM in both games) and then is dropped. Can't be good for his confidence

Since dropped we've conceded one goal in 4 games, so the manager has been proven right. Hoever has been excellent in my view. They'll both play plenty, I expect Hoever will eventually be a permanent signing, I can imagine premier league clubs coming in for Tchamadeu very soon

If Junior is on the bench then who will swoop, but if you play Junior then will Hoever sign as a championshop backup?

We should look to sod him back off to Wolves and play someone who we could benefit from long term.

The plan should be to get Junior up to speed so he's a regular starter by the end of the season. At the latest.

The situation he is in is not the clubs fault or his...it's solely down to Colchester who haggled n haggled all summer....in the meantime he was left in limbo and we needed to sign a wing back...I'm sure he understands and has had dialogue with the club with regards to appearances this season...I'd be very surprised if they haven't.

Just came here to say that I loved watching him play when we were terrible, left back, right wing, centre back, wherever. If you were asking me to put money on one player in the squad being sold for really good money, it would be on him.

Can't be good for his confidence In his first full start at Leicester he was at fault for the first goal, letting the striker go inside. Huge potential but doesn’t offer as much all round as Hoever who defines who we attack

He is young but he is a unit and he has played over a hundred league games already.
He doesn't need ' easing in ' , he did that bit when he was 16 , 17 years old.
He's going to be playing AFCON football in a couple of months and the game doesn't get any more physical than that .
You can't be good enough and powerful enough to play, for instance Cameroon v Ghana on a Wednesday, followed by Cameroon v Nigeria on a Saturday and not be up to one game a week in the championship.
He doesn't even come on for the last half hour and we all know if it's not happening for Hoever going forwards after an hour, he is a less solid defender than junior.

If not, to not have him on the bench is just bizarre. We had three strikers on the bench when we only play with one so would have made sense for Junior to be there instead of Lowe or Wesley. To be honest from what I’ve seen of Hoever this season I’d rather give Junior a run of games.

He’s not going to change the back four with three clean sheets but Hoever can’t get forward into scoring positions and then track back (he doesn’t appear to have it in him). When he does get forward, it’s out wide and his crossing is dreadful - either too long or doesn’t beat the first man.

It is a mystery how after being so impressive in the chances he has had that Howver still gets the nod, hard to argue though when you're picking up points

I would certainly like Neil to give an explanation as to why he's not figuring in the squad at present, especially after some encouraging performances.
