He's been our best defender when he's been featured. Mind boggling non selection. One of the puzzling things with AN clear as day to anyone he's got drive yet we get the attacking no defense from hoever who can dazzle going forward but there are two sides to the game.

Johnson will be back in on Saturday,....defends from the front does Daniel. Pearson will never be dropped for Sidibe. Vidigal/Haksabanavic/Lleris - all 3 can interchange week by week in my opinion - Vidigal has been very poor the last 3 games though. Something has definitely gone on with Tchamadeau.

Clark , more match sharp , and up to speed than a 19 year old just back from playing two internationals ?
No way , I am not buying it.
And Hoever does not have the mentality of a Lee Dixon or an Andy Wilkinson. He doesn't think like a RB . He is not a RB .

There is no meritocracy in that Rose was probably dropped very quickly based on the fact he was dropped only 1 game after 4 cleansheets. Player comes in has an absolute mare (worst performance from any of our CB’s this season) yet keeps the shirt. I’d go back to Rose until Wilmot is fit unless Clarke can show something from the bench. I couldn’t give a toss about his previous career any more than I could that Wesley has played for Brazil. |
