Horatio Nelson Hornblower Captain Pugwash Horatio Nelson hailed from Norfolk and his ship is still Portsmouth based in dry dock trying to complete its refit. Useless pompey dockyardies …..it should’ve come to Devonport. Anyway add Wayne Sleep and Tom Daley to the list.

Ginsters Pasties are made in Callington in Cornwall. To be more personal to Plymouth then Dewdney's Pasties would hit them below the belt because they are made in Plymouth and worshiped by Janners.

Dewdneys pasty known locally as an Ivor. Add Trevor Francis. BM Dewdneys pasties started over 100 years ago. In late 50s, Brothers, Ron & Ivor Dewdney, had their own and separate pasty making companies in Plymouth. Ron's pasties were loved by Devonport Dockyard Maties where his shop existed just outside St Levans entrance gate. Ivor had a shop in Plympton and Plymouth City Centre the latter of which still exists. About 10 years ago Ivor bought out his brother and, contrary to local legend, the two brothers were never a warring family but got on very well.
