Definitely needs cover, lighting and more seating. As others have said, great for summer but January night match not so much

I'd love the owners to blow a bit on a new stadium all together a complete rebuild incorporating a fan zone with a high tech pitch able to accommodate NFL games etc 🏈 replace a stadium that’s only 26years old ? , i doubt anyone is daft enough to do that Oxford United are.

Will the fan zone have a retractable roof for the inclement weather. And maybe some hot water bottles.

Better start producing some decent results on the pitch or that fan zone is going to pretty sparse every week….

Another thing we could learn is to included free local travel included with match tickets 👍 Despite some of your recent posts, this does make sense. It’s a regular thing in Germany for example with local trams/buses incl in the price of match ticket in Cologne, Hamburg & Leipzig. Would make things easier so I agree with the sentiment. Glad you approve 👌 I'll see what else I can think of while I'm there in a few days visiting my Germany family 🙂

My Casualty knowledge is limited to a couple of episodes , Duffy was the other one I remember but don't think she's one to open a Fanzone. Elmo from Brush Strokes and 80s popsters The Reynolds Girls would be on my standby list but they'd probably rather Jack

It's that kind of entertainment we need to be encouraging to get fans to arrive early. Next week , Ro-Land from Grange Hill's origami class followed by Floella Benjamin singing the hits of Enya A few ideas to chuck out there

Not really listen to the fan's having another road access this will put any chance of that happening to 0 People have been moaning about there being nowhere to drink/nothing to do around the ground since we made the move from the Vic. Maybe but they won't go drinking or having a chat before or after the game when its raining and cold,

Although I’m sure Kris Akabusi would be head of the queue when it comes to Origamiism. I once saw him fold a piece an ordinary piece of paper (not verified) NINE (vidiprinter) times when he was called out by Judith Chalmers as a fakey Joe on an episode of Bruce Fivesythe’s Generation game. Luckily it was before social media so there is absolutely no trace of said altercation.

From the carpark directly to A50 That ship sailed as they were constructing the A50. Lack of vision, poor designed stadium and infrastructure. I don’t know of any other stadium where a mass of pedestrians mix with traffic entering/leaving car parks, does anyone know otherwise?

All history now of course but a clusterfuck of planning and vision of epic proportions. With some sympathy to the conditions and politics and finances of the city and club at that time.

Looking at the artist impressions it looks like a bigger version of the below.
As long as it's not chucking it down or arctic weather it should get plenty of use, even in the colder months. No different than going the outdoor Christmas markets in somewhere like Manchester and enjoying a drink and food outside, big coat weather etc.

The first thing they should do on that stage is get the Coates family to sing Money Money Money whilst showering the red and white mosh pit in tenners Supported by World of Twist. I know one of World of Twist. (I know I've kept that quiet until now).

Supported by World of Twist. I know one of World of Twist. (I know I've kept that quiet until now). If you haven't told them about a not at all tiresome meme that's propagated about them on an extremely niche, low-traffic internet messageboard then you've failed as an Oatcake poster* *and in life.

I not a fan of being outside, you can be inside and see outside through the window which I prefer.
Good they've done something for the fans yet again from their own pockets and not passed the cost on.

It’ll be used in August and September and the people will complain it’s out in the open and open to the elements along with not enough bar staff, prices, queues too big etc etc You know it’s coming Typical Stoke to create an outdoor venue with no roof or more importantly wind breakers against the winter weather. Clueless JC again playing at being a football chairman....just so amateur. Have you checked the planning application to find out the design details or just looked at a picture?
