Travers - Looks pretty solid, nothing flash 6 Hoever - An Assist for both teams, bit lazy 5 Rose - Dire 3 Wilmot - Marginally better than Rose 4 Gooch - Keeps getting caught in behind 5 Pearson - Decided to start playing once we’d equalised 6 Laurent - Absolute dog turd again! 2 Johnson - Tried but mostly failed 5 Leris - Battled well, great goal 7 Haksabanovic - Wanted the ball and tidy finish 7 Wesley - Held it up ok but just isn’t mobile enough 6
Tchamadeu - Looks an excellent prospect 7 Burger - Tidy enough, doesn’t like the physical stuff 6 Junho - Has to start next week, looks class 7 Lowe - So Happy for him, put himself about 7 McNally - Did ok 6

Travers 8 made one or two game savers Rose 6 just about 6 Wilmot 7 Played rather well, our main CB again Gooch 7 defended and got forward well Hoever 6... that back pass was awfull but played much better in the 2nd half Pearson 7 defensively good, not much help going forward though but thats not his main duty Laurent 6 was slightly better than in his previois matches, but not on quite good level yet Johnson 6 quiet today, needed a rest? Hax 9 *MOTM very good today, even in the 1st half Wesley 8 lively and strong today... well done! Leris 8 His best game for us today. there is a good player in him and we saw that today!
Subs; Junior 8 strong and determined, nothing really went past him! Burger 7 calm and composed McNally 6 quite good today Jun-Hoe 7 was heavily involved in our winning goal and got stuck today. Well done! Lowe 8 The goal was well taken. I think he's the most promising of our own youngsters, strong and tall too.

Travers 7 Rose 4 Wilmot 5, how many stray passes did he have today!? Gooch 6 Hoever 5, almost cost us the game with that silly backpass! Pearson 7 Laurent 5, how many stray passes can you have during a game!? Johnson 6 Haksa 7 Wesley 6 Loris 6, not too impressed by him, but his goal gave us hope!
Subs; Junior 7 McNally 6 Jun-Hoe 7 Lowe 7

I’d give them all 8 for commitment, effort and composure after the first 15 minutes. A few stand out moments from most throughout the game.

Travers -7 - Did what he could well Hoever -6 - terrible mistake. But great for the team equaliser Rose -2- Hes absolutely terrible. Never seen a defender so frightened in the air. Wilmot - 3. Was nearly as shit as Rose , but not quite. I fucking hate that shite ball he thinks he’s great at Gooch - 5- Not great Pearson -6- not his best game at all but saved our arses twice Laurent -4 - final ball was terrible a few times. Doesn’t affect the game enough Johnson -5 - Probably his worst game for us Leris -7 - great goal, does well for the second too. He’s very lightweight though Wesley-3- He doesn’t do anything at all. Haks- 7- felt a bit sorry for him at times , he’s got something though. Think he may be better in the middle in games we can dominate.
Tcham- 7- looked good and strong despite being played on the wrong side Bae 7- did great for the goal - strong and clever McNally -7, won more in his time on the pitch than Rose did all game Lowe- 8, buzzing for the lad , had to be there. That’s what a striker should be doing Burger- 7, did well , much better on the ball than those who started.

Travers 7 looked good
Gooch 6 not as impactful going forward (sub Junior 7 I like him) Wilmot 6 he at least defended ok Rose 4 oh dear (McNally 7 good as they turned the screw) Hoever 5 practically an own goal and assist not enough to cancel it
Pearson 7 some crucial moments Laurent 5 poor but did the assist assist for equaliser Johnson 5 was pants today
Hak 7 was lively and good goal Wesley 6 not bad Leris 7 started the comeback and was busy
Bae 7 was ace Lowe 7 ditto Burger 6 good

There appears to be a consensus of opinion that both Rose and McNally have yet to demonstrate any form of consistency or quality, perhaps time will confirm those opinions are correct or incorrect.
Perhaps because of the perceived inconsistency/lack of quality by either or both that’s why Ben Wilmot’s own game may be being adversely affected. Just a thought!!

There's two or three on here who dislike Wilmot and revel in any mistake he makes and even blame him for things completely beyond his control. It's utterly bizarre considering he was player of the season last season and in a sea of dross this season is still one of our better performers. These same people get offended when they're accused of being agenda driven but there is no other explanation.

Travers 7 - Kept us in the game with a couple of nice saves Hoever 6 - Brain fart and assist, got forward but sometimes forgot his defensive duties Rose 3 - Our worst player, we looked so much more solid after he went off Wilmot 6 - It can't be easy when those around you are Rose, Laurent and Gooch Gooch 5 - Kept getting run past, isn't a LB Pearson 8 - One of our best today, only one in midfield trying in the first 60 Laurent 4 - All I saw was one single won tackle and one good pass at the end Johnson 5 - Ok, but didn't have much luck Leris 7 - His best game for us, added grit and mentality in the first half Haksabanovic 7 - Nice that he scored, a bit slow in the box waiting for the fullback's runs Wesley 5 - Not mobile enough for how we play, a few good moments
Tchamadeu 7 - Reminded me of Sterling, only quicker, more adventurous and more raw Burger 6 - Better than Johnson, moved the ball better Junho 8 - That assist was delicious, and he's getting used to the tempo. Should start Lowe 7 - That goal was the best mental this year! Excellent movement McNally 7 - We looked so much more solid when he came on. Has to start with Wilmot!

Travers 8 motm
Rose 4 Wilmot 5 Gooch 6 Hoever 4
Pearson 7 Laurent 5 Johnson 6
Haksabanovic 7 Wesley 6 Loris 8 ———————————— Junior 8 Burger 6 McNally 6 Jun-Ho 7 Lowe 7
Defence looked fragile all game - again. It would have ended in another loss if it weren’t for some great moments by Travers and Pearson. Hoever has some qualities but defensively he is a liability, all this game and on numerous occasions before.

Thought Wes has a good game myself He’s not going to score goals though is he? He’s fine played into feet and generally uses the ball well but we need a goal scorer and we’re not going to have one all season. Again

Mmaee is probably the best option to play on his own up front but all the others we have need to play in a pair

Thought Travers had a very poor match . Ok Hoever pass back is his get out . Had Bonham been in goal and collapsed like that this message board would be awash with criticism. But because we eventually won that has clouded people’s judgement. He was dire . Yes he made some saves but all regulation ones . A five out of ten . He has yet to convince . Another who stays on his line . Over rated . The one thing I did like was he ran the length of the pitch to join the celebration of Lowe goal . Given he’s on loan that was excellent
