In fairness we went there a couple of season ago for a 12:00 Sunday kick off when we won 2-0 and took less.......... Yes fair comment mate and with free coach travel.I just meant over the years they’ve never seemed to bring loads even in the Premier league days They do free coach travel as well now don't they?

They do free coach travel as well now don't they? Not sure mate They definitely did, the first game was when they came to our place last season and sold out. In fairness I work with a couple of Hull fans and there's a real feel good factor around the place, home attendances are up massively.........

Yes a lot Derby fans I know are still saying that they should have kept Rosenior when Clowes took over

Isn’t Pearson being out the perfect opportunity to try Laurent and Burger in a sitting role with Johnson in a more advanced position. A 3 of Thompson, Burger and Laurent is thoroughly depressing and just doesn’t offer enough creativity. Laurent shouldn’t be in the squad. i can put up with Laurent been in the bench as long as he’s an unused sub

This is my big worry. At home whoever we’re playing with we have to either play Johnson or Bae as one of the 3 CMs or we’ll create next to nothing. Travers Hoever Wilmot Rose Gooch Burger Laurent Johnson Haks Campbell Vidigal (hopefully) I think it’ll be Travers Wilmot McNally Rose Gooch Laurent Burger Thompson Johnson Campbell Hacks I can see him sticking with Johnson at lwb too tbh, I think we played well enough for AN to stick with it for another game at least. a back 5 at home 🤦♂️

That said, the lad IS very young and should be nurtured and Sunday's game is so important the pressure to perform will be immense. We must have an alternative to Laurent in the senior players, surely?

He will keep with the team from Wednesday swapping Bae for Pearson with Laurent playing more defensively. With Bae, Johnson and the Celtic lad you'd have thought we'd create chances whatever the formation.

Travers
Junior - McNally - Wilmott - Gooch
Burger Laurent
Hacks - Johnson - Vidigal ( if healthy or Bae central and Johnson wide)
Campbell
Could also do with Thompson in for Laurent as a reasonable option.

I can see him sticking with Johnson at lwb too tbh, I think we played well enough for AN to stick with it for another game at least. I really like Johnson. I think he’s an excellent player. I’m not too against the formation it’s just the midfield 3 that worries me. I’d rather give Bae a go if it means we have a creater. I agree but my worry is the Laurent issue is going to keep him out.

It would also get us 2 up top which made enough of a difference for us to consider it.

Hull are a good team. Twine is a player I would have loved to see at Stoke & Delap will be a handful. We need to go for it from the start, convert possession & pressure into goals & feed off the crowds energy. I’m hopeful of a 2-1 win to get the season back on track

Delap is odds on to score, isn't he!
Need to win this one just to make it to midtable and stay in touch with the playoff places. Anything else and it'll just be another long, largely pointless season keeping away from the drop.

Must win today, not good at all if we lose. My prediction, a boring 1-1 draw.

Hull have had a solid start but we have a good recent record against them.
Won 4 of the last 6 meetings with 1 loss and 1 draw

I don't mind that, I would consider Leris in for Laurent That said we know it won't happen, best we can hope for is a 433

And psychologically that's huge. Lose and it tells the players this is gonna be a long difficult season. The crowd has to stay with them. They'll be nervous tomorrow for certain 🙏
