Perfectly fine as an interim appointment, there's no transfer window for another 4-5 months and I've seen nothing to suggest he will be here and overseeing that. So essentially his job for the next few months is to handle some admin and not piss anyone off. So all power to him.
I'm obviously more concerned about what used car salesman Coates decides to buy magic beans from next.

What a superb decision by jc to get rid of the used car salesman and to bring in sjw. it was obvious from the fans forum bash that jc has huge respect for schuey and that could only mean tricky being shown the door. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see sjw being kept in his role permanently either. So if we go down with Schuey in other words he would have made us worse then even if JC has a huge respect for him does that mean he will stay at being a relegation manager schuey is going nowhere and stoke won’t be relegated. |

Another shyster from the five pillars of bullshit and part of the toxic culture at the club that is clearly spilling on to the pitch. Just like Martin and Dublin. We are one of the richest clubs in the world so should be able to attract the best people into the best positions. Walters is ok in the interim but we can’t be blinded by his former links to the job. We need to go out and get the absolute best that’s willing to come. If that’s him then fine but does he have the relevant skills and knowledge for such an important post? I don't think you understand what Simon King's role entails. Yes I totally understand his role, and from what someone who used to work at the Club told me, he is cut from the same cloth as Martin. From the moment those two walked into the Club, they have overseen a toxic culture where anyone who isn’t a yes person is fecked off pretty sharpish. They both peddle the five pillars of bullshit which seduced the board into appointing them without the proper skills required. The only difference is one has been found out sooner as it’s more obvious. |

This summer Dublin won't have to find a new squad,just 4/6 players to fill in our weak spots. I think he would have learnt a great deal regarding last summer and hopefully he'll put that into practice this summer. But I was impressed with how he came across and explained his reasoning on why we'd signed certain players. Just need his spreadsheet to consider the personalities of players now! Any new recruits should be made to do three rounds in the ring with SJW first. That’d stop us signing any more Fanny’s like Maee |
