We need something like a Bill Ackman of football to come and sort the mess out. Ex player shouldn't be on the list of priorities for any short or long term appointment in this role

I genuinely have no idea and it could be bollocks. The emoji used on the tweet would suggest someone well liked (presuming the guy tweeting is a Stokie). I have a feeling it'd be in the Walters, Shawcross etc mold, if it is anywhere near likely. However, not a clue if that's a brave or stupid choice going down the ex-player route. Could it be an ex-manager as potentially mooted? How would ex-Spurs utility player Jamie O’Hara have any inside knowledge (or suitability) of his replacement though? I'm not sure if you're joking, but it's not 'chased out of Wolves with his wife and kids' Jamie O'Hara tweeting mate. I thought it was at first and had the same reaction 😂

Ex Stoke player? Clive Clarke? I genuinely have no idea and it could be bollocks. The emoji used on the tweet would suggest someone well liked (presuming the guy tweeting is a Stokie). I remember having the season review video of his Play-Offs promotion season on video. Even as a 7 year old it was galling seeing him sacked at the end.

Sounds like it'll be a crowd-pleasing interim appointment, until we hopefully get a proper process for his replacement? Only names I can think of who cover "crowd-pleasing interim" are Bojan, Walters and Shawcross. Yeah, based on the emoji, one of those three would be a decent guess Even if it's just based on nothing at all, it'd be an instant huge PR win and feelgood factor. Until the second Cardiff goal went in at the weekend anyway!

Who's going pick the team Saturday now then? That'll have probably been his last task. Expect Campbell in goal on Sat and Haks at centre half.

Great news, stick the 5 pillar shite up your arse But but he promised us Championship level players, ideally ones that had played in the league. Isn't that exactly what he didn't give us Please let it be true, no place for a buzzword happy marketeer

One down, King and Dublin next please. Get rid of these and go all out for a proper CEO and DOF. We have the money, so let’s go out and get the best.
For now I will praise them for making the correct decision. They’ve had a lot of (justified) criticism recently so only right they get praise for the right move. 👏

Super Jon Walters.
Not sure of his capability to do the role but someone who seems to genuinely love the club, despite not being a 'Stokie'.
A great rendition of his song at Cardiff on Saturday to follow. Welcome back Jon and best of luck!

SJW will have zero power, purely a vibes appointment.
Considering we're a a shit show though, I'm not against it.

This was a a REAL vote of confidence for Schumacher.
I'm glad it seems to end this way, I still think that Schumacher is worth it. He just just hasn't got very good tools (players) to succeed.
I'd keep him even if we'd go down, he did very well with Plymouth in league one. Let's trust this one, he will turn this ship around eventually.

SJW is an inspired choice. Done his qualifications, some experience of the role at Fleetwood, understands the club and will surely be a good fit with Schuey. As an interim appointment it ticks every box.

I loved Walters’ as a player (after Pulis left). However, this is a ridiculous appointment. Bringing in someone with limited experience to run a club on fire, oversee a manager who is very inexperienced and look after one of the worst Chairman in the league.

Ex Stoke player? Clive Clarke? Which of our ex players are in anyway qualified for Dof Football role, anyone know? Bojan. Not a wind up. He is qualified. Whether it’s him or not is a different story.
