I wonder if Dewsnip will join Schumacher now🤔 Highly doubtful, judging by a Dewsnip press conference when he was in temporary charge the relationship was soured by criticism from Schumacher.

Now's the time for a proper appointment. Not the managers mate.

Another bullshitter hired and fired.
Unfortunately for us to be successful JC has to give the reigns to someone else.
Experienced high quality director of football required who is not chosen by JC but chosen by PC.

Hopefully this time we take the same approach that we have taken to bringing in managers: headhunt the best in the business (ahem) and throw incredible amounts of money at them.
I'm fine if Dewsnip gets poached in a John Rudge type role, but if they're going to be given autonomy over everything from the under 7s to the first team then I would rather we did it properly.

Saw Ricky Martin and The Cultural Architects support WOT in early '90's.
Shit band, booed off.

Ok for now - but it’s not gonna have any impact on the team fighting relegation. Will we be looking for a TD/FD for league one or championship ? I don't think you can underestimate the toxic atmosphere that had no doubt built up around the club with Ricky at the helm, i think the relief and freedom now for Schuey and players now to focus without the background toxic politics going on, can only help

Michael o'Neill would do a good job at this but as long as they get someone in who knows what they are doing will do for me,, come on jc our club is at stake..

Credit where its due to JC. Yes, our position is down to his management since taking over but at least hes acted on this debacle. I'm quick enough to criticise but I'll give him credit on this call.

Will it make any difference to the players and their ability to win games though? It will hopefully make the summer recruitment a lot better if the right person is selected as his replacement.

An unnecessary post which was always going to produce a diluted leadership at the club.
Hopefully, we have no plans to replace him.
Has the recruitment guru gone too?

Good news. Now the question is does Dublin survive? It depends on what his role actually is. If he's just a souped up chief scout then you could argue that he's recommended a couple of gems in Burger and Bae and might be worth keeping on. If he's handling all things transfer related (less likely?) then it's probably more difficult to make a case.

Not that it needs any confirming if it's Percy.
But in this case, the more the merrier!

Good news. Now the question is does Dublin survive? I'm still not against Dublin. He's come in and tried to improve our recruitment processes and found a couple of gems along the way. Still think more due diligence is needed before making some of these signings but still think he can have a positive impact at Stoke.

Hmmm you also said Eustace was done 2.5yr deal. Forgive me if I wait for more proof before having a party He was second choice as they didn’t think they would get the AN deal done as they did , hence the ability to afford SS , Campbell training with U21 today why don’t you fact check that one , to check my credibility ! And it’s done

Will it make any difference to the players and their ability to win games though? Unlikely in all honesty, but it's a show of support for the manager and it'll at least get some of the waivering support back on side in the immediate term. However, I suspect that will evaporate before 3:45 tomorrow when things inevitably go pear-shaped on the pitch.

Or are others less gullible that we are?

Will it make any difference to the players and their ability to win games though? I think the fans will respond on Saturady in terms of getting behind the lads. If things stayed as they were and we'd gone behind the atmosphere would've been all against Martin I think. I'm looking forward to it now and getting behind our club.
