I'd take warnock any day of the week over this fuckin clown 100% I would. Always thought he may end up with us one day. Maybe he has actually retired this time. A good fit though , wouldn't be exciting but we wouldn't be this easy pushover I don't think a manager would go as a result of this but if we lose on Saturday it isn't looking good

They've invested too much into Team Alex to make any immediate decisions.
Christmas at absolute earliest could be an emergency board meet if we are still on this horrendous run of results and bottom five. Mobiles going nuts.
They might as well call Ghostbusters.

Just read on another thread 13 defeats in 19 games since April
At any other club…..

They’ve invested a lot and won’t want to sack him one little but but no way does he make it to Christmas at this rate.

I always take note when he posts, with him being a stoke lad but coaching abroad at Slavia Prague who have a very decent academy. Very interesting the tweet below where he says that stoke need to get a manager in who plays modern progressive football from the 21st century. We really have to move away from this same current mould of manager. It’s tedious. What about Will Still? Was he at Reims was it?

I think Neil should be given his cards but i'm not sure I can take another John Coates lead appointment, especially with that cretin Martin in his ear.
What a total and utter shit show. We're a great old club and deserve a lot better than this.

We need to get someone in who can get us back to basics and consistency, we are consistent in getting beat and it needs to be halted.

I think he needs to go sooner rather than later, I still don't know how he wants us to play and I don't think he does either. He hasn't shown any evidence that he could turn us into a top 6 team.
I do worry that the owners will give him until Xmas, the problem with that is that if we are bottom 6 come Xmas we are again going into the market for a manager that can keep us up rather than a manager that can take us forward.
If we sacked him now we will be a far more attractive proposition for better calibre managers that feel they still have enough time left of this season to have a good crack at the playoffs.
That said I don't trust the board the make the correct appointment and feel we could be in the same situation in another 18 months.

I can't see a way out of this for him as we stand here today, I really can't. I'm also worried about not just who is coming in next, but also how long the ego of the owner will allow this to fester, and how deep we'll drop before he admits the manager he has chased for so long, and invested so much trust and faith in is nothing more than a below average Championship manager that not only hasn't got a clue how to get us out of this mess but has actively played a part in getting us into it.
He left Nathan Jones in the dugout until we were virtually dead and buried.

Yeah, JC can't really send for Michael O'Neil again, who himself is back at Nothern Ireland again, to dig us out of trouble. Or can he?

He'll go down as one of JCs better, if not best appointments. We're in serious trouble here.

He left Nathan Jones in the dugout until we were virtually dead and buried. The way he left Jones lingering for a month after that Huddersfield game was bizarre. There was zero way he was coming back from that. He was like the Black Knight in Monty Python. Not sure Neil is quite as dead-man-walking as that, but I can't see any way at all out for him. It's just a matter of time. He was more decisive with MON, but it seemed a pretty slam-dunk decision to sack him over the summer. He seems a nice guy who gets close to his managers. Maybe hiding behind the settee while Denise deals with them is the answer.

If the crowd turns fully they won’t have much of a choice. Do you really think it's at that stage yet? Lose at Bristol on Saturday and I foresee a few rumblings of protest before the Southampton game on Tuesday night. If we lose that then then perhaps the management/board have got lucky with it being a midweek night match.

Big summer rebuild and players still bedding in, poor run of injuries, played and lost to 3 top 6 teams who’ve not lost many games plus a premier league team and we’re calling for another manager’s head 🤦♂️
