Just a note of caution, and I do really hope and think he will succeed, but I seem to remember Etebo saying similar - he had offers from Premier teams and European teams but felt Stoke was the best place for his development and had no regrets about joining us before the World Cup.

He’ll need plenty of time to adapt but got a good feeling about this lad… can see him and burger been big players for us👌🏻

Oh yeah. I definitely see a guy turning down more money at a top European club to come play for us 😂 Standard agent talk. PSV et al are hardly going to turn around and burn the agent/player by calling bullshit on this.

Looking good in training! This guy's always asking questions that's already been answered in what was said before. Hey I'm probably being a bit harsh, sounds a nice enough bloke. Problem is, he doesn't seem to listen to the answers, he's reeling off a list of pre-planned questions regardless of the responses given to any previous questions. Needs to address this.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CwpyFVwI-9q Following Uzbekistan U-20 Asian Cup and Argentina u20 World Cup,there were a lot of inquiries about Junho UK. Italy. Germany. Spain. Netherlands. Belgium. Portugal. Agents from all over the world, including Turkey, contacted me, and I had in-depth conversations with many club scouts during the World Cup. It is our job to support our players and turn this interest into action and results, so after the competition, Team Leader Choi (Jong Yoon) and I traveled around Europe and had in-depth conversations with clubs. Torino. Eindhoven. Ajax. Tottenham. Arsenal. Wolverhampton. Leicester City. AT Madrid and Stoke City, Junho’s current team! This is a club that we, ROUTE1SPORTS, met in person, and offers came in through various other routes. We were confident in Junho's abilities, so we decided that where the player could play was the first thing to consider, as was the transfer fee and salary. There were countless stories about this and that offline, but there were so many things that were different from reality and the resulting card and communications were rampant, so I think the player and their parents were very confused and had a hard time. Nevertheless, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to his parents and Junho, who silently trusted and waited for the company without even once contacting me first to ask for the details. There may be many who think that a move to Stoke City is not the best move, but as someone who has spoken to all clubs, this is Stoke's assessment of the player. Considering the vision and the people of the club, I am confident that this is the best choice. Now that a new chapter of challenge has opened, let’s trust and watch the player.

That's exactly what I was thinking "So Alex, you mentioned there the impact of the new players when you brought them on... How do you feel the impact of the new players was today?" AY?!? It's awful, awful interviewing and whoever it is, is a serial offender in this regard

It's awful, awful interviewing and whoever it is, is a serial offender in this regard I noticed that one too! And this one, and I'll paraphrase... Cambell: "...the 6-1 win against Rotherham will give us more confidence". Then a minute later... question: "do you think the 6-1 win against Rotherham will give the team more confidence?" Its like spitthedog says, he needs listen to the answers. Then he can have extra questions lined up so he can skip questions accordingly if they've already been addressed. If he happens to be reading this I hope he takes it as constructive criticism and not twattery. As I say, he seems a nice enough bloke. I'm sure he'll get the hang of it

Just hope he’s protected by the refs. Judging by the 2 that reffed the Millwall and Preston games it’s unlikely.

Just got round to watching that.. all I'll say is his team-mates must be fukin impressed after that training session, he absolutely tore it up. So quiet and withdrawn off the pitch then just oozing confidence as soon as he's on the grass, bloody brilliant. As others have said well done to Jared for putting in the hard yards to pull this one off.

I'm all for giving people time and learning their trade, but this has been going on for a good while now, It just makes him sound a bit daft and the club come over as amateurish in their approach. He can come good with a bit of homework. Anyway back to the player in question.

Looked up to speed when he came on, good control, good pass success rate and nearly an assist. Only just turned 20yrs old so will be interesting to see if he can progress

We really need players who can do this from the beginning of a game and sustain it.
I hope he can be one to do that, it's a bit easier to come on near the end of a game and look full of beans when other players are tiring, unless you are Dwight Gayle of course.
I'm hopeful he can be a good player for us.

Loving the look of Junho so far and he looks to have a lot of class, vision, technical ability, a bit of aggression and surprisingly strong for his small frame which is a very exciting combination. I'd be playing him just behind the striker centrally though with Burger sitting deeper.

Actually I think we used him right on Wednesday let the game open up first his lack of physicality just yet means he’s better when there is more space I’d see him as an impact player and see if he can make one especially at the minute as he’s no risk striker to play behind courtesy of another window cock up .

I'd be playing him just behind the striker centrally though with Burger sitting deeper. I presume you mean the no10 role, the furthest forward of the 3 midfielders with license to support the central striker. Burger and Pearson sitting deeper. That’s what I see him as, the link man we have been missing for so long and the one Neil has tried to shoehorn Laurent into and which he can’t do. He’ll have to have an engine for that role, which it looks like he has, if he’s going to support the other 2 midfielders when we are defending and on the counter. It could be very exciting.
