From the video it was good to see Wesley and especially DJ being welcoming to him. His English worried me-until I heard Alex yelling something I couldn't understand a word of!

Jared really earning his money - even driving him back from Heathrow. And he's got the smooth line in every scenario. Wonder how central the Jared smoothness was to convincing his team we were the right option? Understandably he does seem very shy. I'm sure a lot of thought has gone in to how to help him settle, where he should be based etc. Wonder if there's any chance he could stay with a Korean host family for a few weeks/months to help him bed in. I think the fact we’ve done a video of him arriving (Vidigal the only other I can think of?!) makes me think we have thought a lot about it. If Jared is right about the clubs we’ve beaten to him then they be done one hell of a job selling. |

From the video it was good to see Wesley and especially DJ being welcoming to him. His English worried me-until I heard Alex yelling something I couldn't understand a word of! It's lovely to see his respectfulness when he meets people in the video. That slight bow when he meets Jared and Alex shows (to me atleast) a great character, honour and level headedness. I really think this guy will go very far in the game and we would have been privelidged to see his early years |

I think that we should enjoy watching this man playing for our Club, while we can. I don't think that he will be with us for long. You can tell straight away that he has style & ability. We are fortunate to have him. Such a Gentleman, as well. It's something that we have lost.
Some in this country could learn from how he conducts himself. Very humble. Unlike that yob in the other thread, who saw fit to stand in front of a child who was seated, & then came out with some foul language in his presence.

When the parents of a new Korean child in school came to see me one morning they bowed when they met me and when they left. I wasn't sure what was expected so just bowed in return, then they bowed again!! |

Very mature and professional for such a young lad. He will have learnt a lot and been taught all about humility and kindness by his dad, that's for sure. |

People in this country have been taught similar values at school over the decades, but some happily do the opposite… including out of car windows!
