Genuine question, is there anything remotely Korean (community/restaurants etc) in the Stoke area or Staffs/Cheshire for that matter, to help him feel a little bit more at home? Miso, Japanese restaurant- appreciate its not Korean - is fantastic if he’s in the mood for sushi. Opposite side of the road and just down from Sainsburys in Stoke. There’s also little dumpling king in Hanley. Not Korean specifically but close enough right? 😂

He’ll move into a Manchester city centre apartment and never come near the place apart from training and match days probably…… I do think new players, especially non-English speaking ones should be encouraged to find somewhere in the immediate area. He’s a Stoke City player, and pride in the shirt will be better cultivated by growing a familiarity with the local surroundings. Manchester may be a bigger city with more shops and restaurants, but no one there will give him the time of day. Over here, people will fall over themselves to make him feel welcome. Keep it traditional and find him a family to live with close to the training ground. Got to say I agree with this in this case, it seems the most sensible option. I do remember Harry Souttar doing the same thing. It's Whole new ball game though for a young Korean lad. At least there is a Asian supermarket right next to the stadium

Do we think we'll get a glimpse of him tomorrow? I don't think he'll start but would be nice to see him get some minutes.

Wearing shirt number 22
It's a lot easier now, I can call him Desmond.
Go on Desmond, son!

I'd really like to know how this young man is expected to settle into s-o-t. The culture difference is enormous, so young and so far from home? He's surely not coming to live in this country on his own? I'm sure he's potentially a fantastic player but he's human, a young one at that, never left his home country. how is he expected to settle in S-o-t? I'm really interested to know the answer to what settling in plans we have for such players? He’ll move into a Manchester city centre apartment and never come near the place apart from training and match days probably…… Couple of decent Korean restaurants and a Supermarket in Manchester..

Do we reckon he'll start today? Bench I’d imagine. I’m loving the look of training. There feels like a real togetherness which is great to see as it seems to have been missing for so long.

Once players have competition for places and can see the talent around eachother the hunger to do well can certainly kick in.

Do we reckon he'll start today? I'd put him in from the start personally. It's another fortnight to wait for a start if not.

Tell you what, I'm sick of players coming on and looking far better than the ones who are on from the start, but having too little time to do anything about it.

Excellent debut.
Moves across the pitch with an elegance of a top top player.
Enjoy him, because he won't be here long.
