I did think the club might have helped him bring some family over but then I thought about when I got a major pay rise when I was 20 and all I wanted to do was get as far away from my family as I could and balls deep in some slags. Granted I only went from Stoke to Barnsley though, so maybe not that comparable.

Genuine question, is there anything remotely Korean (community/restaurants etc) in the Stoke area or Staffs/Cheshire for that matter, to help him feel a little bit more at home? The Chinese ‘super store’ opposite the 5 aside place sells Kimchi. Best I can think of! |

Not a huge Korean community in Manchester but plenty of Korean restaurants (albeit most will be "westernised" I'm sure) and an authentic Korean supermarket and cafe on Oxford Road which is populated by the local student population. I know the likes of Arnautovic had apartments in Manchester City Centre so he may do the same? New Malden is where the biggest concentrations of South Koreans reside in the UK, that's a hell of a commute though.......... |
