I love Bae but come on, bloody hell 😂 You just wait and watch him next year play with a decent team Under a proper manager, and then we will revisit this post Let’s do that. He has scored two goals in the Championship, it’s some way off the Premier League never mind the Champions’ League .

The first time he showed passion and intent as well as skill and directness, makings of a good attacking midfielder.

Technically he’s by far our best player. He wins possession he has no right to, very rarely gives it away and makes intelligent runs into the box. He’s still pretty raw I. Terms of decision making in the final third but I believe we have a diamond in our ranks alongside Burger.

You just wait and watch him next year play with a decent team Under a proper manager, and then we will revisit this post Revisit it all you like, it's an absolutely ridiculous statement as of right here, right now. Bae has put in some good performances for a bottom half, second tier club. Bojan was putting in performances when we were a top half, top tier club. And that's after playing in one of the greatest club teams in Barcelona when they had the likes of Ronaldinho, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Messi, etc. And after he'd beaten Messi's youth goalscoring record at Barca. Bae will be a top player, everyone can see that. But to say that he's far better than Bojan right here, right now, that's just silly. What’s the more difficult task? To play alongside xavi, iniesta and the other lot or to play alongside Laurent, daniel Johnson and the other lot ?

He's the most passionate player we have, from his first game he's physically punched above his weight, he always tracks back and is generally a joy to watch. Well done for the recruitment department for this rare find.

If we have any chance of keeping him & Burger next season,we simply have to be in the Championship next season. They are both premier league quality especially bae Junho

Fantastic goal.
Put a very experienced (albeit donkey) Luke Ayling on his arse.
Get in lad. What a player.

You’re absolutely right, but let’s not be small time and assume we are a stepping stone. If we stay up, he and Burger should be corner stones in building a team that will fulfil their ambitions. And if any team wants them, they’ll have to pay mega bucks - end of. Let's hope they don't have contract clauses which limits any sale to smaller fees... I'd be surprised if there was for Junho given no-one knew he even existed before we bought him. There might be with Burger, given he started both legs of a Euro Conference League semi-final last season but then again, I am not aware of any other teams that were in for him.

You might want to amend the above statement to " I'd be surprised if there was for Junho given shakermaker and his mates did not know he even existed before we bought him. " Clearly he was not exactly incognito, because according to wiki, "In January 2022, following interest from a number of clubs across Europe, as well as former club Daegu, he signed for K League 2 side Daejeon Hana Citizen." He had won 18 youth international caps for South Korea. That might go under the radar in ST4, but not among agents... He does seem to have a bizarre prefernce for second tier clubs such as Daejohn and Stoke, but this would appear to be a strategy towards making the next move (a PL club?), and if it is, his agent and his previous club are sure to want a big slice of the cake by having inserted any number of release clauses in his contract.

He showed glimpses of Bojan for me yesterday, hopefully gives him some confidence now and hopefully SS doesn’t poss around with the team against Leeds. He is far, far better than Bojan You are having a laugh aren't you. Bojan has played at a much higher level. Bae has real potential though.

Should have had an assist as well with his perfectly weighted pass to manhoef who was left with an easy chance that he fired high. Hopefully he's away now and we just need to keep playing him.

If we stay up hopefully we can keep him until at least Christmas then make a fortune on him at worst. If we go down would imagine he'll be off and we'll have our pants pulled down in the process.
Going be a serious player in a few years time and looks Premier league to me once he's got a few more games under his belt improving consistency.

Well I've just done a quick Google, and absolutely no mention of any transfer interest from any other club leading up to the time we bought him. I'd be interested to know who these other clubs were. Surely if any Top 5 European league team had expressed interest, he wouldn't have given us a second look. Clearly he had potential, but before we bought him that is all it was. Youth caps for South Korea isn't exactly setting the world alight, hence why he was signing for a K-League 2 side. This is why I'd be surprised if his agent had any leverage for insisting on release clauses. Maybe legitimately enough if we fell down to League One, but surely not for anything else. You can only say well done to Jared for doing his homework and crunching the numbers enough to spot him before anyone else did.

He is far, far better than Bojan You have to just be on a wind up now chief. In 163 Barcelona appearances he managed 41 goals and 19 assists and won 2 champions leagues and 3 La Liga titles. Stop being silly 😆

Weren't Arsenal reportedly interested in Jan 23 but unwilling to pay the fee. I would absolutely hate him to go there. I think he is rapidly becoming my favourite player since the Greenhoff Hudson era. We've had better players but apart from Lawrence I don't think there is one who has run himself into the ground for the cause like he does. The way he collapsed onto his knees at full time on Saturday almost brought a tear to my eye and was very Lawrence like. He has everything now he has added goals and assists (should have had another on Saturday but for Million's lack of composure) . Bae shows commitment, bravery (loved how he made Ayling look like a clown after he'd tried to bully Junho in the first fifteen), skill, stamina, intelligence, humility and passion.

I see the Bojan comparisons and there’s bits there…I’m just really happy we’ve got a player we love watching and are very proud to have and whatever comes of this season praise needs to go to the person/people responsible for unearthing him. I do think his goal on Saturday had shades of Bojan at spurs😁🔴⚪️
