Our midfield is crying out for some creativity that I don’t think Johnson/Laurent can provide. Hopefully Jun-Ho arrives and can slot in fairly quickly because based on Millwall first half we look miles off it.

According to Daejeon Hana Citizen on the 27th, Bae Jun-ho will depart for England via Incheon International Airport on the morning of the 28th. Bae Jun-ho plans to complete the transfer negotiations with Stoke if there are no problems after conducting a medical test in England.
Several clubs showed interest in Bae Jun-ho, who boasted outstanding skills in the K-League and U20 World Cup. Among them, the transfer took place as Stoke most actively wanted Bae Jun-ho. According to football officials, Stoke offered Daejeon 2 million pounds (approximately 3.3 billion won) to bring Bae Jun-ho. Bae Jun-ho was also excluded from the list of U-22 (Paris Olympic) national team scheduled to be convened in September as his transfer to Stoke was getting closer. The Korea Football Association explained, "Bae Jun-ho has decided to be removed from the September call-up list due to the possibility of leaving the country due to transfer negotiations."

I don't know why we bother getting excited and thinking things will change. I’m starting to think, having read this forum for years, that some of the fan base are happy with us being in a slump as it gives them something to moan about. We’ve lost 2, won 3, it really isn’t worth getting so upset. We’ve got nearly 5 days left and looks like incomings to improve us further. Yes Neil got the first half wrong but once the signings are in and settled I hope he will have us playing 4-3-3 and it won’t be long before we dish out a few spankings. We won’t win every game, that’s football. |

I was frustrated at the decision to put 5 at the back on again, however it worked against Watford and he probably reverted to it due to the Ipswich game away. He changed it at half time and we looked miles away the better team. We can’t seem to get a good win against that arsehole Rowett especially in London. We are going to end up with almost a squad of new players, they need time to gel, time to get to know the tactics and time to understand life in the UK. I think we’ve done well so far, I’m frustrated at the losses but encouraged by the home form. Once this working out period is over I think we will have some team on our hands and I’m excited to see it! |

No but the away form (ironically) is a concern, and in the first half yesterday we were schooled by an average manager under pressure, and we made a one dimensional team on a bad run look better than they are. |
