Time and patience will be important with some of these signings. Brentford followed a similar model but for every Maupay, Benrahma and Mbeumo they also had a list of overseas who didn't work out (including developmental talent purchased for their B team). Even so, it looks like our due diligence is very good and it's a positive to see we're trying a different approach. I think this is particularly true for this Korean. Just 20 and moving half way across the world to a totally different culture is a challenge in itself and to a club with no other players from a similar culture or speakers of his language. Add to that that he has only just established himself in the team and the standard in the Championship presumably is higher. I also suspect that although he has been satisfied that our style of play will suit him he probably doesn't appreciate the number of neanderthals from other teams who will do anything to stop him or how defensively a lot of teams will set up leaving him very little time and spaces.

One for time and development you would think along with Jojic Possibly to start with but I'm getting a sense these players aren't joining to be playing under 21's football and to be loaned out to Shrewsbury. I think they'll be banging the door down to play before long.

Bit of a mix I think first team bench here, U21 games there Loan in January maybe or as you suggest no loan, in and around the 1st team instead

That is an amazing background article! That has probably given the most insight into the working of a transfer than anything I've ever seen. It should have given this forum a much needed reality check. It highlights the many factors that go into 'negotiations'. Football Manager it ain't!

Looks a player - but this game is against Malaysia u20s and they thrashed them 6-2. Hard to argue that he is very much a baller though!

We should have saved the no27 shirt for its natural successor. Bae. First tweet, The second clip in the second video, that could be Bojan. Play style, running style everything.

Hey Jude with Juno instead of Hey Jude. Only 2 words to learn 'Na' and 'Juno'. Even the cokeheads should be able to manage that.

I’m trying not to get my hopes up re anything at the minute but what a transformation it is even if this lad doesn’t arrive. We needed a new squad pretty much and they’ve gone out and done it/are doing it. Absolute madness and a strange feeling after years of the club doing exactly what you think they shouldn’t be doing to doing pretty much exactly what you think they should be doing. Makes your meltdown in early summer seem more and more ridiculous with every day Not really. We needed lots of players in fast. Wasting pre season will never not piss me off.

Is he a number 10 or a winger though? www.artivenews.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=265The news that Bae Jun-ho's team, Daejeon Hana Citizen, is currently negotiating over the transfer of Stoke, raises the expectations of domestic fans. Bae Jun-ho was born in 2003 and is currently evaluated as the most talented among the K-League pro players of his age. At the time of the U20 World Cup, the fact that his talent was so extraordinary that there were rumors of a transfer to Arteta's Arsenal was a hot topic abroad, and many people consider Bae Jun-ho as one of the best talents in Korea, comparing him to Lee (PSG) Name: Bae Jun-Ho Nationality: Korea Date of birth: August 21, 2003 (20 years old) Height: 180cm Youth experience: Daegu FC U-12, Jinwi High School Current club: Daejeon Hana Citizen Uniform number: 33 National team experience: Korea U20 soccer team Position: Left winger, attacking midfielder, central midfielder (Mezzala) foot: right foot Similar players: Iniesta, Lee Chung-yong, Lee Kang-in Strengths: Off-pressing, dribbling, passing, on the ball Weaknesses: Physical, Judgment Bae Jun-ho is the best attacking talent in Korea after Lee Kang-in Bae Jun-ho was the main character who led the team to the semifinals by playing as the ace of Kim Eun-joong at the U20 World Cup. Bae Jun-ho has even the 'multi-sensibility' to digest bad the 2nd and 3rd lines, and has natural talents such as the ability to carry the ball in the midfield area, dribble and depressurization to beat the opponent, and finishing ability soch as pass. This gifted player has been in the limelight since childhood. When he is in the central attacking midfielder and Mezzala position, like Iniesta and Santi Cazorla, he is the center of the team's attacking work and is mainly responsible for attacking creativity. In the case of playing as a left winger, the main foot is the right foot, so it is a player with many similarities to Iniesta by coming into the center and showing playmaking, passing, and goal-seeking movements. Even within the K-League, Bae Jun-ho is evaluated as an overwhelming talent of his age. This is evaluated as a talent comparable to the'senior' Lee Kang-in, who won the Golden Ball at the U20 World Cup, and is at PSG. The strange thing is that Bae Jun-ho has never had European experience, but he has often surprised others by demonstrating his genius sense, just like European players handle the ball. However, since he is still a young player born in 2003, the disadvantages of lack of judgment and lack of physical skills due to lack of experience remain as homework. However, because of Bae Jun-ho's excellent body balance, he is not far behind European players of the name age, so there are are many fans who are not concerned about his physical condition. Since the U20 World Cup is a gathering place for soccer players from all over the world who are looking forward to the future, scouts from many big European clubs check every match. In fact, Bae Jun-ho caught the eye of European scouts and was recommended to some English clubs. In some places, transfer rules that Arsenal in England are aiming to recruit Bae Jun-ho also came out and gathered topics. At that time, after the semi-final match, Italy U20 World Cup coach Carmine Nunziata praised, "Bae Jun-ho, number 10, was very good. His skills are great." AT Madrid coach Diego Simeone, who played against Team K-League during Atletico Madrid's visit to Korea, commented on Bae Jun-ho, "Bae Jun-ho's line play was very impressive." Daejeon coach Lee Min-seong said, “I think you have to go if you want Bae Jun-ho in a good place. He thinks it would be better if the players leave. If you go to Europe, yes. I don't think there are any players who can do the same skills, ball touch, flexibility, and dribbling than Bae Jun-ho. He cheered for his student Bae Jun-ho, Saying, “He is a player that is too good for me to have.” If Bae Joon-ho confirmed his move to 'man's team' Stoke City and started his European career in the second division of England, there would be many positive aspects. First of all, Stoke City is in the 2nd division, but it is not a small club at all, and because of the nature of the 2nd division in England, it often requires stamina and physical leather than technology. However, some of the so-called 'genius' soccer players, in the process of excessively focusing on physical management, lose their existing strengths such as agility and quickness due to excessive muscle attachment. Bae Jun-ho is a talented midfielder who hands the ball well. He has the ability to pass and score goals, and in the center he can be the lubricant for the team with his dribbles and de-pressing. He is a player who can digest all the front lines and also plays a lot of defensive rolls in central midfield, so if he moves to Stoke City, he will have man chances to play in the second and third lines. Overall potential 9/10
