What I knew nothing of at the time was that we allegedly turned down a massive offer for him from Juventus. Maybe now I understand how it all went so sour a bit better.

When critics start on about body language, attitude and work rate, I always think of Dimitar Berbatov. Would hardly chase a thing, yet at Man Utd he scored more than 50 goals.

If so this message board has just hit a new low.

We got relegated because of the attitude of about half our squad.

He reminds me of someone in as much as how he looks and how he moves, but I can't put my finger on who exactly. Excellent start and looks hungry and up for it..

Was a great assist for Mmaee's goal
You can't quantity into goals , things like ... wanting it more than the other guy .
But Leris wanted it more than the Sunderland defender and Mmaee got a goal from his determination.

But Leris wanted it more than the Sunderland defender and Mmaee got a goal from his determination. I thought he had an excellent game, showed a lot of desire and proved why he was in instead of Haks. First game I saw him I thought he went down looking for a free kick too often but yesterday he really put his body on the line and assisted Hoever to keep Clark at bay. He won a surprising number of headers too.

Pop up in a striker role to head on an assist and then, when hanging on at the end will be the last man making a tackle in a right back position. Above all that he does look to have a bit of ability about him. He'll prove to be a great signing.

Looks a useful acquisition, lacking a little match fitness, tired late on, but great effort, with a bit of skill too. Looking forward to watching him become a fans favourite.

I like him. He’s everything that we were told he was when he signed in relation to his commitment.
For me I’d play him against the better teams because of his workrate but when we play lesser sides who set up to defend I’d play Hacks in the same way I’d play Bae rather than Johnson.

Sorry I disagree, he has claimed the right wing spot whenever fit at the moment. I suspect he is the sort of player who will play with the same commitment whether it's against Leeds or Sheffield Wednesday. We've had too many players recently who play well against the good teams but don't put a shift in in the less glamorous games.
