Arguably Jared's our best signing in years. For me, the jury is still out and will be for a few months. Vidigal has made a promising start but we’ve had players do that before and fade away. Mmaee has made no impact yet but could well improve as he settles. The other signings he has probably suggested haven’t even played a game yet. They could all be flops or they could be worth £10Ms in 12 months time. |

The flip side of the coin is if it does work and we're flying high AN could be in demand from lower half Prem etc clubs. Getting someone to dismantle this would be nigh on impossible. The not his team excuse in that event can't be allowed to prevail. It's feeling a bit shit or bust to me. |

I'm quite pleased to see Neil in that video as well. I never expected otherwise, but it's good to see everybody singing from the same hymn sheet and no question of the manager having players dumped on him. As expected, he is very much the Jacob Brown replacement. |

I really like the fact that this is a signing to replace the positive attributes that Brown did bring to the team. In general there seems to be real thought into the the type of player we are signing and it’s a big positive that they all speak good English already.

Sampdoria forums are pretty interesting, most wishing him well but a lot of comments you'd find here about a few other players, a lot about how he's not even remotely close to being one of the players at fault for their relegation, stuff like "athlete not a technical footballer", good at running, this "sweat the shirt" phrase they have comes out regularly.
A lot comment on his engine and chasing down but said he doesn't fit in Pirlo's philosophy and think that that they got £700-800k for him (and that that is good business from them).

Now I need to go and lie down. Got to agree. There is a presence about him, much like Wes. Up to pace and he'll go, as others have said. Vidigal, as Bayern said, is in the mix early and good for him but lets hope he becomes a little more clinical in his link play as he often finds himself in some useful areas but a little wasteful! |

Just been chatting to my football nut Algerian barber, and he’s said he’s great and saw him play in the flesh for Algeria (friendly in Sweden??)
He said how grounded he is off the pitch which backs up is overall approach on the unveiling video.
Anyway hardly an ITK view on him, but encouraging all the same.
