I recall an article about David Beckham that said he went through a period of bulking up in the gym and his game suffered quite badly so he gave it up and got his game back. He just needs to grow into himself and learn how to adapt to the physical side in his own way. |

I've just watched his Youtube clips, he's very left footed and direct.
I don't think his twiglet arms matter particularly. Looks like he has quite a big frame.
This kind of signing has the potential to be like Brighton's policywhere we may have unearthed a gem but we have to be realistic that it's also got just as much of a chance of it not working out. Let's hope it's the former.

Already getting stick before kicking a ball about his physique....Mahrez is lightweight n hes done ok...theres 2 types of wingers imo, the mahrez type (cultured and skillful) or the adama traore type (speed boat with no driver) i know which one I'd prefer...Welcome to Stoke Nikola🔴⚪

Physicality can be improved. Stoke have the funds to support the excellent nutrition and training plans. I was really impressed by the changes in physique to players like Brown over the summer. Laurent and Campbell also appear to have come back looking leaner and stronger.
I know nothing of this player. If he is direct: excellent, that is what we desperately need. If he is determined and willing, a young man should be able to add musculature to their frame with ease.

This seems on the face of it a bit of a punt, but it’s nice to see us breaking away from the Vokes/McLean/Ince/Duffy types (I could go on)
