Keep him, don't think we'd get much for him now and we seem to be okay FFP wise. I think the only chance him going is if Everton completely shit themselves. Imo nowhere near good enough for Everton I think the only reason he gets linked is because of his dad. Hopefully with this new competition he’ll push on and progress with us.

I’m sick of hearing about this guys potential. The old “if he stays fit he’ll score twenty” or “he’s premier league quality”. Now he’s got some competition let’s see how he deals with it. Hope he does but I’ve got massive reservations. And before anyone asks I’m not a rich Native American😉 This is true - it’s getting close to now or never time with regard to his career at SCFC. The odd good game in five doesn’t really do it even if in that game he finishes chances like a potential PL player. Perhaps the competition he now faces will focus his efforts a bit 🤞

Hopefully Vidigal's form gives Campbell a kick up the arse. Vidigal on the Left Tyrese on the Right. 2 wide players who can score goals. 1. That makes Hoever a liability and not an asset 2. It does not fit in with our rhombus shaped press

It’s not his fault he’s susceptible to injury I guess, he’s very much a dynamic player and they tend to get more injuries. But I do get the feeling there’s a bit of an attitude problem there as well. Hopefully he will stick two fingers up to no marks like me and power on this season.

Just a thought but maybe Neil doesn't see Tyrese as a winger but more a traditional striker hence why we've not brought anyone yet.

I'd love to see Tyrese in this new look team. I hope he stays.
It's a long season and having that depth to cover injuries/suspensions/out of form players is essential if we're to challenge for the top 6.

It was more a case of Everton getting desperate.

It does not fit in with our rhombus shaped press That misunderstands the role of the press in at least 3 ways. First, we have to have more than a press to win at home, last season made that clear. So we need players able to create high up and that means Campbell. Second, our press isn’t one shape. Last season it varied from game to game such as against Blackburn when we set up to nullify their right back. Third, the key role in the press when Hoever goes high is the right midfielder, Smallbone last year and maybe Laurent or our new recruit slotting in.

Given how desperate they are for a striker, I can honestly see them going crazy. Just wait till their fans find out he hasn’t played as a number 9 all that often 😬 Would Tyrese want to walk into that shit show though? If he does it’s a money thing and very little else It’s a good point, I wonder if the family ties might swing it. Guess if they offer a 5 year deal on ‘cheap’ premier league wages of £40 grand or so he’s going to find it hard to turn down. All conjecture of course, he could end up at Leicester or Southampton now they’ve got ridiculous fees for their players etc. He’s no Tella, but Campbell wouldn’t be the worst replacement for that right winger cutting in role that will be vacant if a premier league team buys Tella.
