Any idea whether BBC will go live on any of these? Really enjoyed the TV coverage through the rounds last season.
Notice that Uttoxeter switched their home tie to Bury because they can’t handle the expected numbers of away fans.

Surely we can do better than a single megathread for the FA Cup?

Last season it was up against the fixture on the FA website (on the link above) if they were on TV, I cant see anything down for this weekend. Maybe they wont start until this extra preliminary round is done and see what the fixtures are, and which club can manage to take cameras and all the stuff that goes with them ?

The money they make from switching the venue will make a massive difference. I played a few games for the Town in the early 80s but they were crap then

I'll keep May 25th free in case its an amazing Stoke v Nantwich final But can we avoid calling it The Emirates FA Cup please, its not the Emirates anything, we were playing for it 100 years before the country even existed, let alone the airline... the main media may have to pander to sponsorship, but on the oatcake we can surely fuck it off ??

Visiting York with the family on the weekend of the 3rd round, so crossing pinkies that York get through the fourth qualifying round, then the first round proper, then the second round proper, then draw us, at home.
Pretty sure it'll definitely happen.

Pretty sure it'll definitely happen. Didn't Stoke play York in the FA Cup in the early 70's? January 2010 Stoke City 3-1 York City. If memory serves me right the match was in doubt until near kick off time due to a raging blizzard. EDIT Yes we also played York away in January 1969, winning 2-0.

I've only got very slender links to two other outfits, Stevenage (my son was born in hospital there) and Hitchin. Latter because it was a 25 minute bike ride from my then home on days we weren't playing hockey. Quite an atmospheric little ground.

Northwich Vics went out at the first hurdle, losing 3-1 at Skelmersdale, Maryland won't be too happy at that result.

Big days coming up for non league as the FA Cup resumes on friday and saturday. Local interest aplenty with the following hoping to progress Nantwich Leek Congleton Hanley Kidsgrove and of course Whitchurch Alport If they progress they earn a paltry £1,500, hardly enough to pay the utility bill. It's time the FA took a look at the prize money allocation....£2m to the eventual winners which will be a rich top 6 club who won't even notice the money hitting their bank account, whereas increasing earlier round payments could have a significant impact on clubs like the above. Anyhow good luck to them all...dream of the next round and maybe a TV appearance.

First BBC live game is Horley Town v Croydon Belper v Leek should be tasty!

Is our wagsastokie off to Ipswich Wanderers on Friday evening in the Suffolk v Norfolk match, Ipswich Wanderers VS Dereham Town ?
