Baker has been 'on the grass' longer than Cheech and Chong so hopefully he's in contention for the next two as a sub perhaps? Tezgel will be eased in via a stint in his proper age group as he was a bit silly last time when returning. Still leaves 5 fist teamers out:
Campbell (was he touted as coming back after intl break) Mmaee, who gets better with each game he doesn't play (likewise) Rose ?? Gooch ?? Stevens whom we probably miss most of all, god knows when back - maybe in time for next Ireland match and another injury?)

Any evidence to back up that claim? Maaee's injury came after about 40 minutes, Campbell's after 10, Vidigal's from being kicked, Gooch seemed to feel his leg after a collision on the goal line on Saturday, Baker had a long standing injury, Tezgel's was due to not following process, Stevens was injured with Ireland. Hard to see any pattern Videgal impact injury, that's down to dirty Millwall Mmaee, Campbell, Burger, Gooch all muscle injurirs Thats your evidence right there wasn’t Campbell’s a kick to the back of his hamstring that caused him go off

A couple of months?! It really is such a shame, but it looks like the lad is going to have a career plagued by injuries. Be interesting to see where he goes in the summer.

Burger's also came after a challenge and he played on Saturday anyway. Seems like we only have Maaee as the evidence there is a problem with fitness. Seems a pretty thin case.

Find it a bit strange that i'm already mentally not factoring in Campbell now or feeling like we miss him in the team when not available, even though we're a bit light with Mmaee, Vidigal & Tezgel out with injuries. Hopefully Vid will be back soon

Couple of months!? Not only will it be a loss for us (still deciding how much of a loss) but I think his injury record will mean he’s not going to have a clamour of clubs queuing round the block to sign him when his contract expires! There’s still time of course but it’s not the career it once promised it was going to be. Edit - It would be interesting to see how many fans would offer him a new deal? I’m really not sure if I would!

He will prob ask for a decent wage.

We may have no choice come June next year mate. Offering a contract and him refusing it is a different thing to not offering one at all mate Yes I get that mate. I assumed we'd offered him a contract which he'd turned down in favour of leaving on a free next summer. I was also under the impression we were open to selling him this last summer but for whatever reason it failed to happen.

Campbells was 100% a hamstring pull, he went darting through and pulled up.

Do you know he hasn't been offered a new contract? I’ve no idea Ah right, thought you might have heard something. Contract extensions make the news, non offers don't usually unless the player goes public. I'd imagine it's RM's job to do contract extensions and part of his remit must be to protect the club assets. So even if AN doesn't want to keep him (which I don't believe) surely it's down to the DoF to financially protect the club, offer a contact on the understanding it doesn't stop him considering any other options and obtain the best deal in the summer for the club, as you say. If he doesn't sign it nothing has fundamentally changed.

This Vidigal situation is a huge annoyance. He's one of the best forwards we've seen at the club in years and we need him.
