There could a few card spoiling scores and a lot of nerves on the last day Busy day on course and long queues yesterday to get into the grandstand by the 17th, so if anybody is thinking about hanging around there go early - because if you aren't in the grandstand there's hardly anywhere you can get a decent view of the green if standing. All went to plan for Fleetwood, hoping for more of the same  |

In Macalroys round yesterday he hit a perfect shot onto the 17th green.
The Sky commentator praised him and then said "a great shot and only one foot away from disaster"!!

I heard they have raked the bunkers differently today after feedback (compaints?) from the players. Too many balls finishing tight against the revetted faces. Today the pushed sand up against the revetment so that the ball is more likely to roll back into the middle of the bunker. Unfortunately, one side effect of this is if you land in on the full near to the face your ball may likely be plugged in the deeper sand.

Today the pushed sand up against the revetment so that the ball is more likely to roll back into the middle of the bunker. Unfortunately, one side effect of this is if you land in on the full near to the face your ball may likely be plugged in the deeper sand. How about just don't go in the bunker. FFS. |

Not looking likely anyone can get to Harman, you could even argue he's value at 4-6. If mcilroy was 5 shots clear he'd be priced up at 1-100!
My get out bets are on Cantlay and Fowler to make the top 8 - they're both around 10-1 but only have to overtake 10 players each so that seems like good odds to me given both of them shot 67 yesterday and both have previous for shooting low last rounds

Worst I have known it at The Open. Its just as bad at Wimbledon with wannabee wankers shouting out just before a serve. At both events I'd give them one warning per group and then have a marshall following them around, any more from them or their mates and throw the lot of them out. Hats off to Harmen, putted the daylights out of the course and never let anyone get to him. Fleetwood gave me a scare. Rock solid each way for 70 holes, then disaster, then a birdie to get back into the top ten. |

Conditions out there clearly tough.
There was no proper charge from anyone in the end. Mind you the couple of mistakes Harman did make he then followed it up with Birdies. So you cant argue he deserved to win.
Rory once again clearly as he said it. He's playing good golf just had too many shots to make up today.
Lots of Tommy support but again didn't hold enough putts. He rightly so looked dejected but he also is playing well so just needs to keep plugging away.
A good tournament overall which lots of players can take pluses from.
Stories like Matthew Jordan are the highlights. Local lad home course not only make it to sunday but finishes a few under par.
