Apperently The Sentinel are reporting he lost a game of keepy uppy with Eddie fucking Hall and turned back with his tail between his legs before a helicopter “descended” and he was taken to the Macari Centre by a local monkey dust addict who thought he was a pilot before landing outside the Liquor Vaults only to be told he wasn’t welcome around these parts. Did he meet the Tattooed Face Woman and then deliver Fuming Frank's missing chicken wings to one of the dirtiest Stokie houses Martin Roberts has ever visited on Homes Under the Hammer, before visiting a picturesque beach just an hour away from SOT?

Does anyone still read that shite? I've not clicked a link in anger in well over 12 months. Fuck The Sent*nel - it's proprietors think you're thick, despise the city they represent, and are laughing at you. Stop reading it and put the hive of cunts that write it on the dole.

Not sure if the paper version is as bad but I do have the app so I can play a game of SOT Live Bingo Bonus points if Eddie's in a tank

Plus when you eventually do struggle through you find the story’s actually about some single mother of 12 from Hull moaning about the council not rehousing her from her one bedroom flat and nowt to do with Stoke on Trent.

There's no way Maritimo are releasing that statement on their official site without total sign-off though, is there? In the last line, they wish him happiness in the future. Seems pretty definitive It's all a bit odd though admittedly. www.abola.pt/nnh/2023-07-21/oficializada-a-saida-de-andre-vidigal/997358André Vidigal's departure officialMarítimo made official the departure of André Vidigal, a 24-year-old forward, to Stoke City, a team that competes in the Championship. Marítimo receives 500,000 euros for 85 percent of the pass. It should be remembered that Famalicão and Vitória de Guimarães were interested in the forward who still had one more year left on his contract. However, none of the clubs reached an agreement with Marítimo. Here is the full statement from Marítimo: Marítimo da Madeira – Futebol, SAD – informs that the athlete André Vidigal has been transferred to Stoke City, an English team that plays for the Championship, in England. Stoke City acquires 85% of André Vidigal's economic rights for 500 thousand euros. It should be noted that the British team was the only one to present a formal proposal for the acquisition of André Vidigal. The agreement was reached for the aforementioned 500 thousand euros, with Marítimo safeguarding 15% of income in a future transfer of the athlete. However, and naturally, Marítimo continued to probe the market while the dialogue with Stoke City, André Vidigal's new club and the only one to follow Marítimo's demands, took place. André Vidigal arrived at Maior das Ilhas in the 2021/2022 season. After a great season at the service of Estoril Praia, with a vital contribution to the ascension to the First League of the “canarinhos”, André Vidigal took over the verde-rubra cause and played 73 games over the last two seasons, scoring 9 goals. Marítimo wishes André Vidigal full happiness.

Anyone else think there might be a problem? This isn't any high profile signing either so there would be no reason to delay the announcement. Has Maritimo jumped a gun on this?
