I like Silo mate. I just prefer other stuff more. I really Korean stuff for instance and anime for older generations. Not too keen on realistic stuff like line of duty and I thought 'Fool me once' was shit... but I really liked Luther. Have to say UK stuff doesn't really do it for me anymore. Just seems low budget and the special effects are lacking. A fair bit of quality American TV is made with British actors, British technicians and so on with the odd key US actor to front it Silo was made here I think because of that the cream of British talent often isn't making out and out British TV shows Agree....most of the best series include UK actors.... game of thrones is a classic example, and house of dragon, black Sails, LOTR rings of power, etc. Loads of British actors, but with good budgets. British-own tv series are poor in comparison. Other than Downton which doesn't rely on special effects. Have to say that I even prefer the US versions of the office and shameless. Mainly because there are more episodes.

But after it's hilarious and Dwight is fantastic. I work with someone who looks like and is a classic American Andy as well. I'll happily re-watch the US office and I'm not too fussed about the UK version anymore. Peacock has a new 'version' of the Office coming - it's not a reboot or spinoff, but set in the same universe as they say. There's an Australian version on the way as well. But that is the biggest complaint I get about the UK series from American friends...'why's if only 6 episodes!'. I see both sides as a lot of American series with 20+ episodes in a series/season have some serious filler crap in the middle.

Kevin, Meredith etc were far better than most in the UK version

Foundation I might go back to but I got bored after 2 episodes. Never read the books though. Iirc they made a bunch of changes within 2 episodes and it was clearly going in a different direction. Asimov got criticised for his characters being a bit flat and his representation of women apparently not up to today's standard. It's a while since I read them and I didn't notice, for me it was all about exploring big ideas and was fantastic. Also it's three short books. Just finished the first TV series Old fashioned sci fi, very well done
