I don’t really know anything about 60’s music or not enough to comment.
70’s - London Calling - THE CLASH 80’s - Appetite For Destruction - GUNS N ROSES 90’s - Generation Terrorist - MANIC STREET PREACHERS 00’s - Original Pirate Material - THE STREETS
They’d all undoubtedly change tomorrow though

Change the title of the thread from Best to My Favourite and I’m in. Or just list your favourite regardless of the thread title. Think that’s what cobs means anyway

The manics are criminally underrated and I don't listen to them anywhere near enough.

60's Pet Sounds Beach Boys
70's Songs in the Key of Life Stevie Wonder
80's London Calling The Clash (Yes I know it was released in December 79 but it can't really be counted as 70's and I had to get both this and Stevie Wonder in)
Was there any music after the 80's?

Thought about putting Jailbreak by Thin Lizzy in but I like an album with loads of songs on.

Could it be me!

Loads of Bowie including Ziggy and Hunky Dory Unknown Pleasures Joy Division. Paranoid Black Sabbath, Highway to Hell AC/DC. Never mind the bollocks. Tapestry Carole King.Electric Warrior T rex, This Year's Model Elvis Costello, Who's Next. John Lennon and the Plastic Ono band also imagine. Sly and the family stone. Pretenders. Kraftwerk Autobahn Ramones rocket to Russia, Iggy pop lust for life. The specials, Roxy Music Talking Heads, the boss Born to Run, Magazine real life, bob marley exodus, the undertones, the damned, blondie, all mod cons the jam, cool for cats squeeze, ny dolls... The 1970s is impossibly good.

Impossible to pick just one best/favourite, so instead I'll just name one album that I thought was really good from each decade...
1960's - Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bayou Country. 1970's - Black Sabbath - Master of Reality. 1980's - Motorhead - No Sleep 'til Hammersmith. 1990's - The Verve - Urban Hymns. 2000's - Puddle of Mudd - Come Clean.

1960s - Stand! Sly & The Family Stone 1970s - The Man-Machine, Kraftwerk 1980s - Power, Corruption & Lies, New Order 1990s - Leftism, Leftfield 2000s - Original Pirate Material, The Streets
Why is there no 2010s and 2020s categories though? Fucking calendar fascists.
