Can’t see us spending more than 2-3 million on a couple of players and I think that’s right. The manager needs to earn the right to spend big and he hasn’t so far. |

Saw posh defender Ronnie Edwards in 1 game last year v shrewsbury. Thought he was ok at best and not particulary better than Connor Taylor.

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm expecting. But I haven't really got a clue. I've seen some people mention £25m, but I was thinking maybe closer to half that. Time will tell. I was intrigued by the link to Ross Stewart, which came from both Sky and Nixon over the last 6 months, because that would indicate we're going to be bigger players than we're expecting if we'd even picked the phone up on that one. |

He needs to have a leap like a salmon as a central defender of that height though! He might be promising, but with Wilmot as our other central defender I think 1.8 meters is a bit small for a central defender. I know Jags is about the same size and Canavaro was even smaller, but still I think we will be vulnerable on set plays.  |
