Can't really fault Macron's quality of shirt. Choose the appropriate European size and you're good to go. They hold together well and wash extremely well. Granted I wasn't a huge fan on their initial 2 or so designs on away shirts but I think after those, starting with the purple away from 18/19, they've done a brilliant job with the designs. I think they’ve all been good since relegation to be honest. They’ve just been worn by shit footballers in the main Most people’s problem with macron is the fact it’s macron, not a more fashionable brand. The vast majority or the training gear and lots of kits have looked class, wears well holds together etc. I think design wise they’ve done a really good job and perception would be so much better if we hadn’t been totally dogshit the whole time we’ve had them.

Macron have been great, I'm just ready for a change. They have been synonymous with our decline, last seasons kits were unreal efforts and I do commend them for it but I would like us to go with someone else now.
All I ask is it's another company who will give us bespoke designs, no adidas off the shelf shite.

Shouldn't Marcon be given the opportunity to pitch season on season given that what they have produced has been generally really good, and this seasons three interchangeable kits concept and execution is as good as you'll see anywhere.

Like I said barring a couple, Macron's kits have been very good and so has the training gear (the less said about the black with yellow the better) I just feel like we've been crap since we had Macron and of course in reality the kit manufacturer has no bearing on performances on the pitch. I just feel like a fresh manufacturer would freshen things up a bit, especially as the playing squad is about to be overhauled too.

Just be careful what you wish for, I know the likes of Castor and Under Armour are flavour of the month but they have had major quality/supply issues as well as being bloody expensive.
Be nice if we could go old school and go back to someone like Asics or Le Coq Sportif but they're doing little or nothing on the football front in this country right now.

Castore are definitely flavour of the month but the quality is absolutely abysmal. The amount of shirts that have literally been ripped off players backs is staggering. A Wolves first teamer was wearing a shirt with the Wolves badge attached upside down! A few teams moved to Hummel but have had to look elsewhere mid contracts due to massive supply issues & contractual matters. Puma are doing some good looking kits and training wear but I'm sure we had supply issues with them aswell. If we were to move I'd love us to let Umbro have a go & give us a proper modern day take on the early 80's kits. Be interesting to see which direction we head in when the current Macron deal expires, although I guess there's always the possibility of them resigning up again. Attachment Deleted

Asics stuff was on the whole brilliant - design-wise and quality-wise. I've still got a few bits of training stuff kicking around from the 90's.

View AttachmentSaid this a few times, my lad is an Everton nut and has loads of it and the quality is nowhere near that of the Macron training gear, and they must be one of their flagship accounts I would imagine. The Umbro training gear always looks top notch, the kits for the likes of Derby/Huddersfield though are just off the peg boring shite in the main........

If we were to go old school, it's Umbro all the way. I mean, they've even revived the Umbro ribbon down the arms. A 1980 Umbro reboot would have me actually buying one for me. And can we have RICOH on the front too please.

They have been synonymous with our decline, last seasons kits were unreal efforts and I do commend them for it but I would like us to go with someone else now. All I ask is it's another company who will give us bespoke designs, no adidas off the shelf shite. not many companies do bespoke though The smaller ones do, that’s the benefit of them. They value the client sports teams they get and go out of the way to do a good job, unlike Adidas etc where unless you’re one of the giants you get ill-fitting off-the-peg shite tossed in your direction and you like it or lump it. I don’t really get the thing about Macron being synonymous with our decline, I don’t make those associations - a case in point being our first Prem season and the FA Cup year - fantastic seasons in two of the worst shirts we’ve ever had 🤬 Macron have been superb, an overall 9/10 I think. Some of the best kits we’ve had in the last 20-30 years. But I guess if nothing else it will be interesting to see what comes next…

Although I’m not sure that the H shape created by the white on that kit is meant to represent Hove. That’d be a sticking point
