I don't quite get the 'he's one of our own' chant
He's not from Stoke is he? He's got no Potteries dialect in his accent.
I guess it because he's come through our Academy?
Seems a nice lad though.
Credit to the manager in showing faith in him.

If Mmaee turns out to be a good option at CF we will be cooking in gas because he scores, assists and is mobile. Wesley did decent today I thought and Lowe's inclusion ahead of Gayle might give him a kick up the backside he needs, if he's even interested anymore Suddenly it's starting to look brighter Wonder if Tezgel as well. Forgot about him, we have got some good prospects for sure

Already better than Wesley and Gayle. However, I expect Mmaee to be first choice when fit. If Mmaee turns out to be a good option at CF we will be cooking in gas because he scores, assists and is mobile. I suppose it couldn't get much darker I'll give you that.

Promising player.

To he fair he got injured last season AN publicly stated he and Tezgel would have played But yes Lowe should be ahead of Gayle in the pecking order Lowe should be ahead of Gayle and Wesley. Just a shame Tezgel is injured as he and Lowe could share the 90 minutes between them. No he shouldn't.

Thought he looked lost while he was on, obviously scored a massively important goal which kind of negates what I'm saying, but before he scored I was wondering whether he was the best option off the bench. He was I suppose as he scored the winner, and hopefully he kicks on amd becomes a top player for us, but he is still 18 and people seem to be going a little over the top tonight.

They’re all one of us. That’s the point. Song always struck me as a bit cringe. However, he seems like a great lad and I’m enjoying my weekend so I’m not going to ask you to meet for a fight at the Matthews statue, despite the terrible name you have called me.

People forget that we don't just invest our time into these kids they actually have to choose that we're the club for them and stick with us through thick and thin in their early career and that should be respected.

What a memory for the young lad. As with Sidebe, appears very mature and grounded.
Hopefully a long and successful professional career in front of him, fingers crossed at Stoke.
I’m sure the club will nurture him along that path. It’ll certainly make it easier to introduce him over a period of time in a side that’s playing well, on the front foot and with consistency.
As with Sidebe and Tezgel let’s recognise their ages/ inexperience and try not to get carried away by putting them on pedestals which could be counter productive for them, the club and us…….Patience!!
His day yesterday, hopefully lots more to come

It may well have been " probably the easiest goal I will score all season" for Nathan.
But I promise you that Dwight Gayle would have missed from there . I have no idea how? Because Dwight is full of surprises but I can guarantee he would have done something to prevent the goal .

Real strikers goal. Made the run to the back post even though nine times out of ten that ball doesn't reach him. Don't think any of our other forwards make that run.

His post match interview would indicate that Neil isn't so anti youth as many make out?. He speaks highly of the culture at the club?.
