I think in the window he was caught between a rock and a hard place. Probably wasn't anyone available he really wanted, he will have his top targets in the summer,with more spending power and less inflated prices. Same with wide men, I think he took a punt on Celina to see how he shaped up, still think he will get Alex Pritchard in the summer..

I was stood next to Lowe in August at CW watching my lad play. He was with his teammates and he said “I think I’d get 10 goals at least if I was in the first team”. I actually responded “hope you get to play then mate”. He was mega confident and his mates were all taking the piss out of him. He’d play with no fear and we should have thrown him on. It’s ludicrous to persist with the hapless Gayle and god awful Brown. He’ll probably be shite then 😂 |

We could have strapped Powell to a trolley and have Brown just race him up and down the line today. I’d have had more confidence in that working out than starting versus Millwall with Brown-Gayle-Celina. Occasionally, Brown and Gayle work together. It was obvious that today wasn’t going to be one of those occasions. |

Think he should come on for 20 mins , half an hour.
Probably true ( unfortunately!) That he is too young to be starting 40 championship games a season without his body breaking down and picking up injuries.
But hopefully more minutes for Nathan from now on.

Last season you could see it was just a bit too early for him. His last few appearances hes shown more of the technical aspects of his game. At 6ft4 he could become an absolute monster for us over time.
Him and Tezgel up top?

Wes, I thought, did all right today was a handful but can't see Wes making that intelligent run to the space at the back post
Gayle does get in those positions but has lost whatever he had (& he's had a good career), he has missed oodles of those chances
