It's unbelievable that he didn't get a chance even for 15 minutes, Gayle is a busted flush. Neil thought Clucas was the fucking answer. No. He might have got 5 minutes at the end, but Pearson started to feel his leg. What can a 17 y o do in 5 minutes, give him a bloody chance or there's no point having him in the match day squad |

No. He might have got 5 minutes at the end, but Pearson started to feel his leg. Awful management decision to replace like for like with Thompson. It was a perfectly good opportunity to bring Lowe on for Pearson. The manager has nothing at all about him and proved today as with other weeks, that the young players coming onto the bench are just a token gesture, and that he’s full of shit after admitting he should have brought Tezgel on a few weeks ago, he hasn’t changed one bit. It’s ridiculous, he was up and down warming up the entire second half and then he has to watch the manager take a forward off and bring on 3 different midfielders and a defender… |

He is a striker who Neil put on the bench, clearly with no intention to use him, despite us losing a game for over 80 minutes at home. Lowe, Tezgel, whoever, Neil made disgraceful decisions and if he is only going to use Brown or Gayle up front for the rest of the season, we will be very close to the bottom 3. |

Putting it simply, Gayle is depressing the support with his utter incompetence. Whether Lowe is “ready” or not is a moot point. Gayle needs taking out of the firing line and Lowe needs a chance. There isn’t too much to lose by doing it is there?

Based upon everything we are hearing out the club and the fact Newcastle United were rumoured to be in for Lowe you'd expect him to have a good career long term.
But is playing him against big centre backs who dominate most seasoned forwards the right type to bring him on?
Not sure but I'm keen for him and Tezgel to get more minutes between now and the end of the season.

Did enough at Blackpool to get a chance today, fans more tolerant of young players than deadbeats, how can Clucas come from nowhere to be the answer its diabolical management, no expectation, if we won't play them loan them out its criminal having them sitting on the bench, they will all leave as soon as they can.

I was stood next to Lowe in August at CW watching my lad play. He was with his teammates and he said “I think I’d get 10 goals at least if I was in the first team”.
I actually responded “hope you get to play then mate”. He was mega confident and his mates were all taking the piss out of him.
He’d play with no fear and we should have thrown him on. It’s ludicrous to persist with the hapless Gayle and god awful Brown.

He missed once in the finishing drills in the warm up today. Brown hit the target once and missed the big net behind the goal 3 times. |

Personally I would play him against Brighton in the cup to test him out. We have nothing to lose in that match tbh as I expect us to struggle.
