I hope he improves a lot because i didn't think he showed enough that he'd cut it at this level. I'm glad he's started on fire though and hope it continues.

He has a sort of arrogant attitude there, as if to say this is way below my level. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, that sort of confidence! Hopefully he can keep scoring and come back with that attitude!

It's up to him to bang the goals in and then see if a loan to League 1 is on the cards in January perhaps?

Far too good for League 2. Found his level more like. He could possibly step up to league one but can't see him making it at championship level

Well, certainly bayern and Hackett don't!! 🤣 He looked like a little lost sheep in the Champo which is fine. Like I’ve said, from what I know (ie within the academy) they generally think League One will be his level.

Yeah unfortunately, I don't think he will make it in the championship. Tezgel has looked far more comfortable in the couple of games he's featured and will improve with game time.
I hope his spell at Walsall continues to be successful and he makes a career from at a good level.

How does he compare with Elijah Adebayo, who had a very average record in League Two with Walsall?
He'd hit 18 in 55 by the time he left them as a 23 year old. Lowe is still only very young.
As we know, Adebayo has gone on to be an effective performer with Luton at this level and above.

Absolutely nothing wrong with League Two being your level at 18 years old.

At his age many players are not fully developed. He clearly has some ability, and much will depend on his attitude in terms of the level he ends up at. The comments above about his eventual level I believe are a little baseless. While Lowe, doesn’t have a great deal of pace, he’s 18 and scoring goals already in League 2. A really good comparison is Harry Kane (not quick and never has been). He was actually on loan in the Champ at 20, and struggling, and prior to that had been in League at 18 and was 1 in 3 at that level. How people feel they can judge where he’ll end up I’ve no idea, there are way too many variables we’ve no knowledge of, all the club can do is continue to test him and help him develop

Writing off a 18 year old after a handful of games for us in difficult circumstances. When he was brought in last season we were in a relegation fight and he did ok. I’m fairly certain just because a young striker isn’t rapid or has ronaldos skills they are written off as wank or league one fodder. Most strikers don’t even start producing until 21/22 he’s got 3/4 years of development and experience to gain yet

He’s made the right decision going to League 2, it will allow him to build up his confidence and develop at the right rate as until he’s better in other areas his lack of pace will hold him back in the championship.
But in a couple of years, when he’s filled out too he could be Championship level.
That said Schumachers comments when he left sounded like he was going to be gone this summer.

Do his confidence a world of good. I see the makings of a very good player.
Better option than Ennis even now

Some of the comments on here Jesus, he’s 18 years old, how can you say at this stage that he won’t make it in the Championship. Laughable really, he’s had a good start in league two, he may go on to score 20 league goals and then people will be saying he’s too good for league two.
Look at Liam Delap, all over the place when he was on loan with us, and yesterday he scored his first Premier League goal. Give him time ffs.

As ever the reaction to some pretty inane comments are ott.
It feels like Collins vs Souttar again.
From reading what people thought of the both of them fans preferred Souttar and think he’s better and that’s just wrong. Collins was always going to be the better player and he is.
Same with Lowe and Tezgel. But like Souttar, Lowe could reach a bit.
He’s doing well and that’s great but he will need to improve a lot to get to the level we need him to. But this will help. We sent the wrong one out on loan last season so at least we’ve got that right this time. We just need to play Tezgel now.
