What’s Mmaee done ? Have a I missed something ? Scored and assisted in the cup. Also a big lump up top which we seem to want to play with. That’s enough to warrant a start for Stoke strikers at present. Hardly warrants him being treated as the second coming.

Genuinely think he's our best option as a lone striker as it stands. Still got big hopes for Mmaee though.

Start him again, thought he was excellent for such a young lad. He can only get better. Lets be fair thats 3 good performances, better touch first half and he gets a shot off, although he will be thinking i should of hit that first time perhaps.

He was okay, should have got a goal really, but he wasn't bad by any means.

He’s a miles better footballer than Big Wes already. I'm not sure Big Wes is a footballer though. 100% shagger.

Hmmm, not sure about this one.
If I have to get off the fence it'd be that I'm not really seeing it and can see him disappearing into the lower leagues in a season or two, Chris Greenacre style.
Touch looks a bit heavy to me, aerially he doesn't attack the ball well enough, not much of a threat really all round.
But very early days, and he might get better with an extended run in the side, who knows?

Mmaee is benefiting from not playing as we generally stink the place out week after week. He might be great and I hope he is, but nothing seen yet that makes me think he's going to solve all our problems.

his performances show why Newcastle Utd wanted to sign him.
After this season we have no need to sign another player past it like Gayle and Wesley.
Give Lowe and Tezgel a chance.

I thought he looked to be getting to grips with things and was generally improving with each game, really bad timing with the injury (not that there's ever a good time).

Two starts, one was the Vidigal show v Rotherham, then he was not much cop at Ipswich. Then two sub appearances v Watford and Millwall, can't remember much of those. Scored v Rotherham in the cup but so did everyone. I'm sure he's decent enough, but I'm wary of putting too much faith in him making a massive impact when he's back playing.

I'm not saying he'll be a 20 goal striker but he was definitely improving and getting used to the pace of the game, if nothing else it's massively limited our options, we're now stuck with big lump that can only play with it at his feet and an 18 yr old with next to zero experience.

The lads 18.
Keep him in the team for a spell and he will score.
At least he’s actually mobile unlike that almost completely paralysed Brazilian monolith we’ve been using instead.

Good, I hope he comes back and is great, but was also dropped to bench after two games. The fact is we've lost almost a whole team out injured which has been a total disaster and I'd obviously love to have him back fit. Just so depressing.

I just don't see what people see in him at the moment albeit I don't see a lot in most of our forwards. He's not ready for the first team and given what I've seen I'm not sure he will be ready anytime soon but its not his fault and I wish him well.

Wesley should be in a Terry Preatchett book, not leading the line on a footy pitch.

He must be buzzing this week with that.
I’d be tempted to give him at least another three or four starts (subject to who is no longer injured). He will have learned even from that chance in the first half v Saints where he took a touch how quick the game is. He strikes me as being switched on to adapt quickly and most importantly…..he moves. Keep with him for the time being.

He's raw but got potential.
