Don't know if we should start him tonight, or bring him on if things are not going well, or even if things are going very well.

Oh the irony, I think we all know its not just about goals for a striker but what have you seen in Lowes general play that makes it easier for team mates to score more, because this is the idea of Wesley? But to further your point on turning your nose up at goals... Dwight Gayle has made 343 appearances in his career, he's scored 124 goals, that's an average of 1 goal every 2.7 games throughout his career. At 31 It would be foolish to not at least try him with these new players as the single striker with 2 decent wingers and and a number 10 behind him because we won't be getting any striker with a better goals to games ratio than that, that's for certain Dixie Dean's record is a goal every 1.14 games - would you recommended starting him up front tonight? Or do you reckon there's a chance he is past it? Don't think he's registered is he, 32 he's spring chicken

Back to big Wes next outing? Why? What has Lowe done wrong exactly? I would actually say he's been one of our better players tonight given the little quality he has received

Fair enough if he’s the better option, again subjective.

Back to big Wes next outing? I would play bonham up front before Wesley…how the fuck he is playing at this level is beyond me

Easily as good as Wesley (who has been very disappointing). Should have had a pen.

Good to see he's already been outed on the Oatcake.
A possible record even by our own low standards.

Our best attack was Lowe's excellent run and beautiful ball laying it on a plate for Leris, who would have scored if he been looking at the ball instead of the defender

Stoke tinted spectacles on there. He was so disappointing with his jogging around and no closing down. For a home debut I would at least expect a bit of effort.

Second half much better, first half missed two sitters and just jogged. First time I've seen him so watched him closely. Big lad though and held it up well second half

He's not done too bad, considering he's fresh from the academy. That chance he had after that magical flick by Haksabanovic caught me by suprise never mind him. Perhaps could have done a bit better with hthe head to the ground but he's 18.
All things considered good debut

I feel for the lad he's been thrown into the deep end and I think he's not quite ready.

All things considered good debut He could've done better with it, but he would've had to have magic in his boots to be able to control it and get a shot away before the defender tackled him. I keep seeing posts about him missing two sitters - if that was one of them then it is laughable to be considered a sitter.

I feel for the lad he's been thrown into the deep end and I think he's not quite ready. He is someone you bring on when the opposition defence is stretched not from the start. Just goes to show how all the injuries are forcing the managers hand.

Stunned by the comments on here.
He really looks like he could be a very good striker for us. Good lay offs, very good in the air, gets in the right places and should have earned a penalty.
He's immediately ahead of Wesley and Gayle for me, who have both had top flight careers.

He’s a young lad, he’ll have good and bad games. What’s important is giving him the chance to have those games. His ceiling is higher than Gayle and probably Wesley are currently offering us, and it’d be great if we can develop him (and Tez when he’s back) to reach their potential.
