Didn't go to see the Fall-were the support act and were garbage IMHO
You like what you like
No point in arguing- if you like them fair play to you. No problem with that

I can think of some exceedingly piss-poor live bands but the ones' that really stand out are; 2 Public Image - Vicky Hall 1986 Absolute shyte - Lydon sneered to the (very small) crowd "You're paying for this shit..." before he was hit on the head with a bottle I was there! It didn't help that he came on to the band playing Kashmir by Led Zep.

Saw REM support The Alarm- yep, were both on IRS records. Agree were so dull, can't get into their stuff at all.
Glenn- I saw U2 when they were an unsigned band and really liked them then- were very raw and punk edged in those days. There were 13 people at the gig when I first saw them. Yes did see The Fall supporting them and to be honest never liked them previously- on the same bill were The Mission who were diabolical and then a really tedious set by the Pretenders. Not a great line up to be fair that day. Was the last time I saw U2- have none of their stuff from the last 10 or 15 years.

Crystal Castles supported Klaxons back in November and were truly wank! Klaxons were good though

Rotten was punk baiting when the (plastic) bottle bounced off his head after about 15 seconds of him appearing on stage - the song was FFF from 'album' and the rest of the gig was pretty good - they even played pretty vacant - i saw them in derby on the same tour and a pool ball was thrown - it's a punk thing i guess.

V2000...Had the unfortunate experienece of after The Levellers had been on, witnessing Good old Sporty Spice in her first gig after the Spice Girls split. She was bombarded with Virgin freebies from the start, kicked off her show with "Anarchy in the UK" (with lyric...i am the anti christ, i am sporty spice) and proceeded to give it the big un to the crowd, before departing after about 4 songs.....
