I think his good performance yesterday deserved comment on here. He's the best striker we have.

I think his good performance yesterday deserved comment on here. He's the best striker we have. Seen a few false dawns from him since his injury. He won’t be the best until he can show he can play well on a regular basis. We need a spark and he has that, so hopefully he lives up to the potential he showed for a brief spell before that injury.

I thought he challenged & won a few more headers yesterday than I've seen before, definitely looked more up for it.

Did well yesterday and took his goal really well. I hope he's got his fitness back now which was half the problem because the talents always been there. If he can keep his performances up to yesterday's standard and keep getting in amongst the goals he's invaluable to us.

The only player in the whole squad who has real pace. Has to play every game.

Looked very sharp and full of confidence. I'm actually quite surprised at the entire squad that played to be honest. After the World Cup, there are bound to be scouts aplenty watching Harry, so you'd think they'd be busting a gut to impress any wandering eyes in the crowd?
Tyrese has obviously got the message...

Indeed but genuine pace is a great asset and players with that and a modicum of skill and reliability in their locker won't be plying their trade in The Championship for very long, it seems to me.

He did good, but he needs to do it on a regular basis.

It was his one half decent performance in half a dozen or so. It’ll be new year before another.

He was excellent along with Harry Souttar Our two best players by a country mile. Without a doubt. Also, Tymon (a left midfielder, not a LB) is the only one who can drive us forward.

As you were One poster said Ty was our only player with pace, and I think he is right as he is the only one with extreme pace over 10 yards. Fosu and Tymon have got some pace, but Ty's acceleration is another class to those two. Tymon is probably pacier than Fosu over 20 yards as well I believe.

Tymon is of no use whatsoever in a back four, pace or not. He has absolutely no positional sense. Fox although limited combines much better with Fosu and actually knows how to defend. If the plan going forward is to stick with a back four we need to move Tymon on if possible.

On the topic of the thread I thought Ty was much better yesterday. Competed for headers and even won a couple. Kept going until the end which was also pleasing. If he keeps putting that work rate in he will get his rewards, well done.

Agreed.. now if he can generate some consistency in his approach we will be back to having a striker that worries the opposition before they play us.. our weak-ass strike force so far this season have left other teams far too comfortable for my liking.
