Obscene. There’s something about that club I really dislike.
And to think we’re ruled by FFP.

Happy with Pearson but to replace Souttar with someone who hasn’t played in 6 months is quite poor in my opinion. A very big gamble from the club. Looks like they were close with a second centre back. We just have to stay up this season and financially things will be much brighter in the summer.

I don't like the way that getting cover for Souttar seemed to be so last minute. Like they hadn't known for a week that he was likely to go. Reeks of us having absolutely no plan with transfers. And if Bournemouth hadn't filled their squad today Pearson wouldn't have become available. Did we actually have any DM targets? Still perplexed by what this club is trying to be and the direct it is heading.

Souttar came back for 6 games and we lose 4 of them with a couple of really poor performances. He is then injured for the next two games and we score 7 conceding only 1. We have a much better keeper to help the defence out a bit more. We should be fine (fingers crossed).

I'm assuming the loans have been funded by sending the other loans back.
We have basically had £12million at our disposal today and not used it.
Does this mean for arguments sake that say we already had a transfer budget of £15million this summer at the restart of the 3 year financial fair play cycle that we will we be adding the Souttar money to that and have £22million to spend?
Or is the Harry money getting swallowed up within the figures of this seasons ffp

Absolute shambles. More loans than Provident.
Harry gone and replaced by a crock who won't even be fit for a few games- it's not like we luck out with injuries at the best of times but at least it's company for Powell in the treatment room. We need players who can hit the ground running as, make no mistake, we're in very real danger of a relegation fight.
Absolutely sick and tired of this club.

Agree entirely, I’m failing to see where we’ve actually improved other than Pearson perhaps. We’re absolutely awful at the back across every position and AN hasn’t addressed it whatsoever, in fact we look worse. Joke of a forward line, again AN doesn't address it. At least we have money in the bank for a push back to the Championship next season.

Just don’t get relegated and we can address things in the summer.
It’s a risk, but I’m hoping we have enough.

We are short as fuck of players at the back Hope there is a decent youth team player that can step up Two centre backs out A bag full of money in Taylor injury for the foreseeable so that’s three gone A centre back in that is made of cheese strings A right back with attitude problems hopefully he can play and prove us wrong A right back that’s made of crackers Plenty of treatment room camaraderie with Powell And a midfielder in who is a walking booking (although I do like the shithouse 😁) I hope to fuck that other deals event tits up and we didn’t fuck it up as usual waiting for the apples to drop It’s gonna be a long hard few months but we do have to get behind the team as they are going to need it Tezgel and Lowe may get a bit of experience up front You never do things the easy way stoke Gooooarrrrn you fuckers do us proud Effort is all we want A few results wouldn’t go amiss too mind

Problem is if he signs for us he will get a red every time he plays I am sick of this "nice" spineless shit way that we tend to play defense that even if he gets a red in the first game I don't care. Somebody has to take up the slack and stop opposing teams from dancing through our middle or lobbing the ball over it. The red cards are why we need to recruit an even more insane backup, possibly 2. Just rotate them in and out. This whole "Love Island" method of playing football isn't getting us anywhere but walked on. Right now, our only counter is to press offensively (which I like too) but you have to have some sort of toll booth out there for when they get the ball. Since when has anybody in this team had a red anyway? (Not that I look forward to them but ffs guys do we care enough to stop people?) My point wasn’t that I don’t want a player who gets stuck in my point is that historically our players were always judged much more harshly than other teams, how many times have we played teams who have consistently fouled and got away with it only to have our first foul booked.

Obviously they tried to strengthen every part of the team. I'm pretty sure A Neil is pleased.
I would have wanted one more forward. We're very vulnerable if 1 player upfront gets injured.
Welcome all 5! 🤠

Do you know, that’s not a bad window.
The gaffer is putting his stamp on things and moving on those with no future at the club. Yes there’s problems but every board in the country will be full of fans worrying about weaknesses in their teams.
Have faith in AN. He just might know what he’s doing.

A good window, think a top 10 finish now. Hopefully, some will stay and money in the bank for next season with some no longer required players leaving. Think Pearson, Baker, Laurent, Celina, Gayle and Brown makes us well capable of scoring goals, a lot of industry in this side now. Going to be a bumpy but great ride for the rest of the season.

For example, Pearson £3m?

It's not perfect and leaves us short in certain areas, but looks like we have got some decent quality in overall. Pearson improves us defensively, even if we are lacking another CB and it then frees up Baker/Laurent to hopefully go and score more goals.
I don't expect us to fly up the table, but think we'll improve and hopefully edge up towards 10th. I know that's not much to write home about, but it'd be progress.

If Sterling can stay fit we could probably make it permanent at any time, the same goes for Celina if it's cheap enough, maybe even Pearson for a smallish fee?

Tuanzebe is also out of contract in the summer so we may well have just signed him on loan with a view to making it permanent after the window has closed...
