What do we know so far...Palestine ceasefire march passes off peacefully. Rightwing EDL type whackjob march (that wouldn't have happened at all if it wasn't for the Home Secretary and Tory client press indulging in a week of shit-stirring to rile up the hard of thinking) turns violent. Who'd have thought it! How long before the Home Secretary and the Tory press try to attribute the violence to the Palestine protest? Fucking idiots! Genuinely amused that this backfired so spectacularly on them.  Well, well, what a surprise. I bet this story has as much veracity as their "poppy seller punched" front page that no doubt helped to get dozens of the EDL dickheads down to London. Funnily enough almost all the Tory tabloids have done this. Ignored the fact that far more arrests took place out of far fewer rightwing nutjobs and tried to make out they were as bad as each other. But then that's because they were desperate for the EDL lot to be involved as they simply couldn't have the main march passing off peacefully. There had to be trouble somewhere so they could associate it with the Palestine march. As predictable and as tawdry as it is transparent and pathetic. Even the police are blaming Braverman for inciting trouble. I was wondering, with the Telegraph having 'turned', what the Mail's position was going to be. Glad to see they didn't 'disappoint' 😃 |

As a proportion, it was the EDL that caused far far far more problems for the police than the Palestinian marchers. I'm totally unaware of yesterdays events but I'm also totally aware of the police forces ability to provoke an escalation, i've seen it un the past with my own eyes. They're frightened to upset the non natives well shitting all over the natives, that doesn't and never has sat well with a lot of people and now its coming to a head. Must be gutted this morning that the main march passed off peacefully and that the counter-protesting EDL types didn't get anywhere near them, got lifted for being twats and fought amongst themselves!
