The King’s coronation has been set for 6th of May which was due to be the final day of the Championship season. We are due to be away at Watford.
Surely this will now be moved to a new date.

Last game of the season is usually a Sunday lunchtime for Sky, so can’t see this being an issue.coverage

Thats because the ko time hasn’t been officially confirmed so they always state 3pm until that point It never has been and won’t be 3pm on a Saturday as also legally through tv rights they can’t show live games at that time mate

It is strange though because in previous years when the fixture list was released the final day of the season had it’s moved kick off time already assigned (for example Coventry at home last season was pencilled in at 12.30pm when the fixtures were announced.) I’d be surprised if fixtures happened on that Saturday now with the coronation, so maybe they will all shift to the Sunday after all.

Hold the coronation at Vicarage Road, during the halftime of the Stoke vs. Watford match.
"You don't know what you're doing" and "You'll be fired in the morning" will add spice to the occasion. Give him a free kick and let him leave the field to a ringing "King Charles, your football is sh*t!"
He'd see the humor in it.

Coronation likely to be celebrated over the whole weekend rather like this year’s jubilee. Hopefully, bank holidays on the Friday and the Monday.

Hopefully the coronation program will have live ticker tape running along the bottom of the tv screen so we can keep up with the live scores..with a throne side reporter asking William his views as villa go 3 down.

Cancel the last 5 games. It's only right we have wall to wall media coverage day and night for a month leading up to the Coronation, where TV no marks can regale us with stories about how even though they met Prince Charles in a queue for 7 seconds they could tell just how humble he was..............

I should hope so. Obviously the world will be agog as the Might Potters only need a draw to win the Champo and go up victorious. Should move his bun fight to a mid week, with no public transport available.

All games have to kick off at the same time, last game of course. They would have to reschedule the whole fixture list

Surely it would be fairer to keep the footie as is so that those of us who don't want anything to do with this medieval bullshit can go and watch something else to make us angry and depressed?
