After getting beat by Reading, I do feel a bit worried for the club , and Alex Neil too. He has to really spin some magic in the next four tough games coming up . To put it bluntly ..... if we get beaten in all of them .... poor Alex could well be sacked.

The burning question I have is where in your mind did you come up with this total non-sense. Which manager in the last several seasons hasn't been given time to make it his team?

Hola! tejstokie .. No offence, buddy ... but are you saying that Alex will NOT be sacked if we lose the next four? That Coates will "give him more time" to make it his team ? And until when? Only one horse was trying in the Reading match yesterday and that was Baker. Campbell and De Lap were toothless. They should be watching videos of Joao on how to play in a strikers role. Flint cannot sprint. Half the punters here warned and wished Alex would not start Clucas before the match, but Alex did it anyway. As for Powell, the whole momentum of the attack slowed after he came on. Brown was lost in a half wingback-cum-striker role. Imagine that! Our best forward at RWB? What about DWP? He had the look of, like: "You (Alex) chuck me on for the last five minutes and expect me to save the game and your arse? My view is that DWP should have started instead of Clucas. That little boy would have been the perfect outlet/link for Fosu and Fox in left field. We seem to get ambushed quite a few times. Its like the opposition already knows how we play, who in the squad can really play and how to play us.

If he lost all 4 games he absolutely wouldn’t be sacked……

He won't be sacked at all but the gloves would be off. Can't help thinking he's been a bit foolish here by talking about Promotion 'this year or next'.
If he takes us up this year then we need to get him into the nearest cloning lab...

I genuinely think survival has to be our objective this season.
I understand people suggesting we will be a better team when more of our players are back, but we just don’t know that.
What we do know is that with the current crop of players, we simply aren’t good enough and are struggling to pick up points against most teams in the league.
How MON was allowed a summer to assemble what most be the most disjointed squad we’ve had in years is anybody's guess, but it’s pushed us back another year or two.
