Looking foreword to this game and feeling optimistic.
Assuming Neal is in charge team selection and formation could be interesting.
How is Joe Allan doing since his return home?

They have just had a long losing trip up to Middlesbrough Stoke just put in an incredible intense shift in at Blackburn I think we will need to make changes or be prepared to make 5 subs relatively early

I don't think an intense shift yesterday will do most any harm as they need it I think. If they manage the training Monday and Tuesday they'll be fresh ready to again

Clucas has to play.
He only turns up against Swansea and plays like prime Xavi.

Some of the Swansea comments about Russell Martin sound very close to what we were saying about O'Neill

I’m excited for this game after O’Neill had taken the enjoyment out of football.

Thompson for Kilkenny & Gayle for Brown for me Sorted that for ya. Is that Jordan Thompson? The 5ft 7”, 10 stone heavyweight midfielder.

Is that Jordan Thompson? The 5ft 7”, 10 stone heavyweight midfielder. I know I'm not the least bit happy with it but he's the most physical midfielder we have in the absence of Laurent. It's MON's legacy he didn't want physicality in midfield, it was one of his numerous stupid ideas. Kilkenny is literally a dwarf.

Kilkenny is also the same height as Thompson. I’d like to see us be on the front foot on Wednesday at home against a struggling team. Kilkenny brings a bit more creativity and he’s played that little I still don’t know if he gets stuck in or not really

I'm not saying that makes him crap it's just not my cup of tea.

You simply must measure these people before accusing them of being “vertically challenged”😉 Oh and I think DWP is 5ft 6 and a gnats cock so not much difference between all 3

We could have done with another physical midfielder.
