Did anyone have any expectations that it would be better than this? Nope, it's unfolding exactly as I expected. You wouldn't stick a David Lynch film on and expect a light-hearted comedy. Likewise, you wouldn't watch a Stoke game under MON and expect pace, movement off the ball and tactical changes that react to the way the game's going.

There is a decent manager out there who would give this lot the kick up the arse they deserve Sean Dych.

Millwall could easily have won this game 5-0 without actually participating in any open play at all

So glad I didn’t renew my season ticket. The only place we’re going under MON is League One.

Pre season matches don't matter.
Have we fund a Stoke player once with a long ball?

MON should have gone at the end of last season - it was so obvious we needed a change.

I know we are on game one but I genuinely think its no knee jerk reaction to say he needs to go ...and go now ! He just is not going to change ! Same again for Blackpool next week Michael? 5 at the back It's not reactionary, it's a continuation of last season (and the one before that which gets forgotten about due to empty stadiums)

For the amount of talent our midfielders possess on the ball, for some reason they're afraid to take on their man.

There is a decent manager out there who would give this lot the kick up the arse they deserve Sean Dych. We can't afford to pay money for players mate. We aren't going to be able to afford to sack the manager, his entire backroom staff and go and get a manager like Dyche. The chickens are coming home to roost and we are paying very heavily for our owners mistakes pre and post relegation. Best case scenario here is a McCarthy, Warnock or a Hughton. Dyche absolute pie in the sky. It will be Holden if we change most likely.

Have some guts Stoke board and get rid of this idiot now.

Oh well ,never mind. Move on, nothing to see here. I am off out to the greenhouse, tomatoes and cucumbers need watering and feeding.
I did not expect much from MoN's Stoke City today but i am beginning to feel a little bit worried about my club. Let us hope that powers that be (Coates Jnr &Co) do not leave things to late. We do not want or need another Mark Hughes scenario this season. We need a Manager will vision, new ideas and a pair of bollocks to get this squad performing. On paper the squad looks very capable, its just a pity that we are playing on grass and not paper.
