Jagielka and Flint as part of the back scares me. Has Flint played yet? Yeah think he’s played over 450 games. Not writing him off but a 33 year old and 39 year old as part of the centre halves doesn’t fill me with joy.

Early goal to them following one of Bursik’s patented charity “clearances,” long spell of apparent Stoke pressure characterized by misdirected crosses into the box. One minute before the half, Brown miskicks in front of goal but, Gayle expecting that, is on hand to slot in. 75 minutes in, somehow our valiant defense is caught napping with a ball over the top - 1:2. Some more puffing and blowing from the lads, ending with a quick incisive counter attack - 1:3. Summing up, Mon says there were a lot of positives and it’s early days yet, but he recognizes there’s work still to do. Have you got a mystic ball 😆

Anyone who went yo Norwich that fateful day actually Bracewells debut will recognise this has the potential, to challenge for our worst first day for some considerable time Paul Bracewell made his debut (as a sub) in March 1980 away at Wolves. His full debut was 1st April 1980 away at Liverpool in the most one-sided 1-0 defeat I think I have ever seen.

Memory and tricks could have sworn that 5-1 at Norwich on,16th august was his debut but maybe it was the first time I saw him apologies

I believe MON will pick this starting 11 vs Millwall: ...................Bursik................... .......Taylor.......Jags.......Wilmot....... Clarke.......Laurent.....Baker........Tymon ..................Smallbone................. ..............Gayle.....Campbell............ Two negative managers so I believe it will be a 0-0 or a 1-1 draw.

I believe MON will not pick
......................Bonham................
Wilmott ........Flint .......Jaglielka ...... Fox
Clarke ..... Laurent ..... Thompson ........ Tymon
......................Brown................
......................Campbell.............
But I know someone who would and he got out of this division with this.
Result 0-0 or !-0 either way

That’s exactly the team he should play Brown will definitely start over Gayle Think you might be right. First game of the season you can understand with Gayle not having much time with us but you’d hope he’s capable of 60 minutes from the off.

That’s exactly the team he should play Brown will definitely start over Gayle He's the closest we've got to a target man so will probably start. He was top scorer last season as well (Somehow)

Are trains running to Bermondsey or is it taxi or bus from last underground stop I've looked today and Avanti seems to be fine to Euston, the tube seems to be fine to London Bridge, and the over-ground to South Bermonsdey also seems to be fine.

I think he will go with Bursik Flint Jagielka Wilmot Clarke Kilkenny Baker Smallbone Tymon Brown Gayle Subs: Bonham, Campbell, Taylor, Fox, Laurent, Wright-Phillips, Clucas Has he played Flint anywhere but in the middle in the friendlies, I can't remember. But if that if the back three its pretty awful. Can't see Gayle going straight in but you never know with a desperate manager.

We'll be somewhere between slightly tenderised and battered depending on whether we are a chicken fillet or a cod fillet. Either way i see a 2-0 loss 🤨

I think he will go with Flint instead of Taylor, who gets swapped due to how awful he was at Hearts. Both would be better in the middle of a three imo. He might move Jags to the right or left instead, or bring in Fox and move Wilmot to the right, but I have a feeling those are his top three atm, and where he will put them. Our defence is a mess, and there’s is not a back three that I would say is good. I think Gayle will definitely go straight in, and despite Campbell being the sharper of the two in preseason, he will go with Brown, and bring Campbell on only if we are behind after 70 minutes. Again, not how I would do it, but what I think we will actually see.

Although I do agree I think he will go with Flint Jagielka and Wilmot at Millwall.
