We've held isolated training in nice places too. Not exactly cutting-edge stuff. And unfortunately, we're proof that you can still fashion a rotten season out of it afterwards. I get it, but it's no guarantee. Well good on them for providing something for their 8 fans to watch during the "Sitzkrieg." Owners doing what they can with what they've got. But I'm not watching 28 minutes of that.  |

They're miles infront of us by default of having an owner that realises she can't do it all herself, doesn't have the knowledge or experience to do it herself and as such has appointed someone at a high level to run the football side of the club, who has recruited a manager in the clubs vision.
Contrast that to our owner, who runs the club like I play Football Manager.

In truth I dunna give too hoots about Vale, Wolves, Bin Dippers etc as I support Stoke City.
Fair play to the vale for trying to regrow and if (big if) we ever meet again in a league match then it brings back to excitement of a local derby. Are they ahead of us off the field?
Not a chance, train at Bradwell, ground not attractive. Just installed new turnstiles (woo hoo).
We (Stoke) are paying for the massive mistakes we made prior to relegation & hopefully there is a plan to not make them mistakes again.
Possible question for the Season Ticket Holders meeting with John Coates, COO & the manager.

As much as it pains me to say this as a Stoke fan, in my day job I actually have a fair bit to do with PVFC through the Vale Community Foundation. Regardless of what you think of them as a club, a lot of the stuff that they do off the field absolutely blows us out of the water...
