They have just placed some more on the site, obviously the first batch sold out. You should have no problem at the moment.

Just checked only 5-6 minutes walk It’s a lot further than that so not sure what you are looking at?….it’s about an hours walk and 15 mins ( traffic depending) at best in taxi It’s virtually next door to Murrayfield stadium

Haymarket is the nearest station. About 20 minute walk. Trains from Manc and Preston stop there.

How far is the ground from the station, I am assuming Edinburgh Waveley station? Just checked only 5-6 minutes walk Haymarket is nearer, all trains to Waverley normally stop there, plenty of pubs around, it's 0.9 mile walk from Waverley according to google maps, trams from princes Street on the way to the airport stop at Haymarket and Murrayfield. A great city, I used to go every 1/4 with work for many years.

Went Edinburgh last August and went to both grounds with my lad to have a mooch about. Been loads and it's a fantastic city and I hope to be taking him there on 23rd. Hearts is a fair old walk from Waverley, but you can get a bus straight there from Princes Street gardens that only takes 15 minutes. I reckon it's around a 35 walk from the centre. Absolutely choc full off great pubs and places to see, this city.

A great city, I used to go every 1/4 with work for many years. This, definitely. Get off the train at Haymarket. If you go on to Waverley you'll only end up coming past Haymarket on your way to the ground if you use the tram or airport bus. You'll see Murrayfield, from the train, on your way in. Might even be able to see a bit of Tynecastle as well.

Just to back up what’s been said - Waverley is a hell of a hike to Tynecastle. Just climbing the steps at Waverley is enough to do for most people ! Loads of black cabs round the City Centre if you want to do your drinking there (and it’s probably advisable) .......but be prepared for a shock when they give you the meter reading. Mind you you will probably be numb to financial issues by then if you’ve paid for a couple of pints - Edinburgh ain’t cheap. If you have got money to burn Morningside and Bruntsfield are pleasant places for a civilised tipple and food and on the right side of the city.
