The first one. The ball went straight through his arms. With power free header six yards out courtesy of Flint having no idea where his man was if he'd saved that would have been a top save Clearly just me though Top save?? Nah that's a run of the mill stop that I would expect a decent Championship keeper to make with minimal fuss. The ball goes through him far too often.

Their seats are at a weird angle. It must be a strange way to view a game.

Don't know if there's anything in this?
Don't think he did very well at Watford last year

theanalyst.com/eu/2022/06/english-premier-league-2021-22-stats/Never know how much stock to put into these keeper metrics - but Opta had Foster 41st out of 42 keepers in the Prem last year, in their 'Goals Prevented' metric, on -12. But the only one 'worse' than him was Meslier from Leeds on -15 - who seems quite highly-rated, so who knows? Strangely, Sa from Wolves was miles ahead of everyone else on this metric.

Don't know if there's anything in this? Don't think he did very well at Watford last year Worst of his career. But every other season he's done very well. The good thing about Foster is we could get him on a 1 year contract. Whereas Zander Clark I imagine it would have been 2 or more. He's a decent stop gap and a good personality. If FFP allows it I'd take him. But would want Bursik to then go on loan too as he needs regular first team football and a move away could do his confidence the world of good.

Here is a good page for his career stats to date - fbref.com/en/players/d0b3ceb9/Ben-FosterLast year was by and far his worst. But he's been quite consistent throughout his career. Had a 74% save percentage the year before when Watford went up.
